I'd really love a winners only season. That's what 40 should have been if they had up to 20 willing participants. Maybe they'll have enough people for the next milestone season.
It'd be hard to get 40 winners because they either can't afford many of the old schoolers or they insist on filming super long which cast with lives can't do.
That's on top of many that never want to be on the challenge again (like Paula) and some that are banned (like Dee )and the fact that Bananas, CT, and Jordan have been a winner on 10 of the last 20 seasons so less guy variety in winners.
Maybe if they allowed for spin-off wins to bring in the Survivor foursome (Desi, Chris, Sarah, Danny) and shorten the filming, it could work. It's just be hard.
