If shorter filming is the only way to get CBS people on a show, just shorten the flagship filming? It's not rocket science.
Like I want to see a lot more of Michaela, Desi, Danny, Sarah, Cassidy, Alyssa L, Grant, Tristian, Kiki and more on The Challenge but they have their place and All-Stars is not it.
Production needs to figure out a few things. 1 how to cast, 2 how to not be ********, 3 how to do a format that isn't boring 80% of the time, and 4 how to shorten the season so people who aren't losers with nothing going on in their lives want to do the show.

When All stars started did the producers say it would be exclusive to RR/RW/AYTO or fans just assumed that?

"On All Stars 4, we wanted to go back to the original idea of the show. “Let’s have a bunch of fun.
We were trying to get some of the past people you haven’t seen for a while. We’ve all seen Bananas. We’ve all seen CT. That’s all happening already all the time. But who are the people we haven’t seen? So what we tried to do is fill this cast with as many names you haven’t seen in a hot minute, or 20 years in some cases. But some names like Cara … I hadn’t seen her for a minute. She’s a veteran now, even if she doesn’t feel like the Veronicas or the Tinas."
It was supposed to be called OGs. Only RW, RR and MAYBE fresh meat 1. Seasons 17 (Key West) and on were questionable for RW, as was Viewer's Revenge for RR. Forget about Laurel and Cara Maria/FM2.

Eventually adding outside those shows is fine, maybe, depending on those chosen for the show -- but not 5 seasons in. Not with relative new people, those we've seen recently on the flagship/other spinoff.
I mean, when the breaks Laurel and Cara took/were forced to take are longer than some cast members' Challenge careers, then they shouldn't be on All-Stars. They're footnotes right now -- maybe wait until they have some type of show legacy before casting them. At least some of the older OGs have nostalgia on their side.

After 24 years of Survivor I had to say goodbye this season. Maybe it's time here too.
Im still sticking with Survivor. I stopped watching Big Brother during season 22. I had watched that show for 17 years. You won't miss The Challenge, I haven't watched the last 3 seasons of the main show and don't miss it. I only watch All Stars and that's it.
Ashley and Amanda being on is fine imo -- it's been over 10 seasons since they debuted, they've been around for 8 years at this point, and def have a legacy -- whether you like them or not. Plus both come from MTV shows, and Ashley is a 2x winner.
The CBS and international folks have no legacy to stand on, it makes zero sense. And that includes Amber who is the best of the BB people in recent years.

I don't think "All Stars" was suppose to be the title of the show. They changed it after they bought in Jonna and Jemmye who aren't OGs
