I wonder how Rachel ends up in elimination since she has a star
She ends up in the bottom group that is eligible to go in. Having a star doesn't protect you from that, it's just that you need a star to make the final. Since she has one, when she wins the elimination she gets a second star and [apparently] gives it to Veronica.

She's in the loser group, so she's eligible to be thrown in.
Kam then rallies the house to throw in Ayanna and Rachel because she wasnted a bigger guarentee of Ayanna going home. The Kam/Cara fallout happens because Cara promised not to vote for Rachel, and Kam was upset Cara didn't vote with her how she wanted.
Then Kam convinced Brandon/Jasmine (among others) to vote in Cara vs Rachel at the next women's elim.

Wow. If this is true it's even crazier that Cara gives a star to Jasmine?
Also Kam can GTFO with that. If Cara had already made a promise to someone, she doesn't then have to vote with Kam on a random vote just because Kam wants it.
I hope this means Rachel and Cara are currently cool and Cara at least has her as an ally on 40.

Cara gives a star to Jasmine because it makes her a target -- Cara even says that when she hands it over.
While I agree Cara shouldn't have to go back on her word to Rachel, Kam probably felt some kind of way about the Ayanna drama and wanted her friend (Cara) to back her play. I think Cara is in the right there but it's tricky.
Cara wasn't in the right when it came to getting mad at Brandon/Jasmine, though, esp the former. Apparently she hadn't really talked to either in years, so her thinking they were friends still is kind of silly.
Rachel and Cara are cool but idk if they're allies. They made the promise not to vote each other because they were two of the first female star holders. I bet they also promised not to take each other's stars, which is why Rachel takes Tina's instead.

Kam has always been super aggressive/bully when it comes to the game. She plays like Bananas
I know Ayanna told Janelle that she wasn't "black enough" bc she's mixed and in an interracial relationship but I want to know what was said to Kam/Leroy/Brandon that had to do with race/politics

Nah, Kam doesn't dictate like Bananas but she will move against people she thinks don't have her back.
In this case, I think she was hurt that Cara didn't support her in what she probably thought was necessary to aliviate strife in the house for herself and her closest friends.
They apparently made up at least a bit because Cara was still hyping Kam up on Bananas' podcast recently, so I feel like that shows Kam builds genuine, meaningful relationships that can withstand game play.

Cara did say Tina's name for the first elimination instead of Jasmine's name and said it was because she and Jasmine have "history." But yeah, if she didn't actually check in with Jasmine about game then that's on her.
I don't quite see how having a star necessarily makes someone a target? As in, stars can be stolen from someone without them even going into elimination so giving someone a star doesn't really mean they will go into elimination.
@Pinkrose do you have more details surrounding the Janelle quit? I'm actually curious on details and who all was involved. There was tension between people that were supposedly on Janelle's corner towards Janelle herself.

Except Jasmine is an easy elimination win to get a star from

Even Kam in her confessional made Janelle's quit seem weak.
Janelle doesn't have a reality tv personality and was bad casting. She's a whiney victim, she always has been and always will be. Glad Ayanna ran her off.

IMO Janelle has been a bland personality and over-rated competitor since I3
That wouldn't end well for you. I guess it's good that you'd want her in elimination because you'd **** around and find out not to mess with Jas!!! https://streamable.com/xraw8n

Is next week a double elimination? Is my baby really going home next ep and hes gonna have to share the last of his airtime with jasmine?! Why cant I have nice things?

She stole Tina's.
It's set up that Brad and Rachel really mess up the daily next week. Idk if she's automatically in or she just gets voted in from the bottom group.
Laurel: if it was a balls in and I could toss a ***** then I would go in
Oh she's just like me. Like mother like son

Jasmine crying because she has to throw the elimination so that she doesn't embarrass her friend Laurel. Love her so much.
