I would've said yes to pairs if this followed a normal elimination format, but since we lost eight players in Episodes 1/2 and there's only 26 people left, I think we have 2/3 rounds of teams with double eliminations and then individual game/single eliminations until the end.

Hope it stays teams all the way through or the point of eras is lost

I feel like pairs is just the easier laziest option.
this idea of "teams" is so bizzare to me if they told them immediately it'd be 2 winners only

They're apparently trying to pay homage to the entire series, so it feels inevitable that they'll do pairs and individual at some point.
Especially since it's been confirmed there will be one winner of each gender. The only other way it makes sense is if they keep teams to the end and then do the finals in pairs/individual.
If they kept this in teams they could've just excluded the long *** filming time.
Especially if they kept in the opening challenge because it's been a month and 16 people are gone. And,that's excluding the fact they waitied a week to do anything.
Throwback to when we thought USA 2 would have a team winner lmaooo
I was shitting my pants at the thought of Josh making a final and maybe even WINNING, but then I came to my senses and realized that that was silly! Speaking of Josh, I keep forgetting that that flop is on this season.

I'm so happy they went with 40 castmembers, because the flagship is probably not making it to 45, let alone 50, so it's nice to have a great big potential monumental sendoff for the show.
But I think we all knew that they weren't going to go 40->38->36 etc. There's just not enough airtime in a 90 minute episode for 40 castmembers. You're gonna get 8-10 with a story, 10 with a confessional or two, and 20 ignored.
So, I get the quick cutdown, but it would've been nice to have a mini-redemption with the first eight eliminated with one man and one woman coming back in after a quick puzzle redemption challenge or something. 34 castmembers is completely doable and it would've dampened that harsh cut from 40 to 32.
Irdgaf plus she wouldn't have beaten Laurel anyway
Well we'll never know since she broke her hand. Cara is elite. You should take notes from her amazing performances when taking into consideration how you want your favorites to perform. I'm sure you partially know this, since you feel the need to tear the queen down! It's so lonely at the top for Cara Maria.

K. We'll come back to this once Laurel wins this season and proves herself as Queen of the Eras
Jasmine's 6 losses say otherwise
lol
Can we hurry and get out of teams and get Jordan as a partner for Tina.
This is probably going to pairs midway through
Would love a Darrell and Rachel team but if they somehow split eras and Darrell gets Aviv again, all is right in the world!!!!
Oh they know mother is about to stand on business and fling the brolics.

Imagine a Tori vs Nia balls in matchup. Now that's a good matchup to watch not poor Amanda getting pummeled into the ground

You proved her right
Oh not Tori clocking me...dare I say mother? Jk *giggles*
Fun fact: Cara Maria never won a season with Laurel on, but Laurel has won on a season with Cara Maria on
This is how the season gets ruined
She had a broken hand you *******!
You can't take the queen's 3 wins and 10 finals away from her.
Irdgaf plus she wouldn't have beaten Laurel anyway
Yes I can

Except you really can't, because they literally happened. Google is free.

Oh please. The only things Laurel is the queen of are stupidly staying in toxic relationships and making an *** out of herself in elimination rounds.
I don't think Cara stans have the grounds to speak on relationships oop--nvm
