"Even if we're fighting to the death, you have me" is kind of a killer line from Cara to Laurel. I thought I was over their frenemy/sister drama but this sucked me right back in.
wow. Once again, all stars proves to be the superior product! Much better editing, better music choices (loved blu cantrell in the beginning!) people really need to put respect on this show because it really is so much of a better than the flagship has been FOR YEARS!
Felt like the cara maria show-have we ever had someone narrate previously on through their experiences before?
adam redeeming himself from his reputation of not being supportive to women on his team
NOT ENOUGH KEFLA! But the lil bit I got was satisfying :)
sadly this episode had to be the one where the lesbians re-explore their relationship...ugh.
i missed what derek did-why was he the MVP???
So are we just gonna have puzzles for eliminations now?? No physical contact?ZzZzZzZ
my only complaint is the placement of the zoom call brendan had with his ADORABLE daughter. Granted we usually suspect the zoom calls to be the one out- but placing it right before the elimination and not having one for leroy just made it so obvious.
Cara picks and chooses when to use that accent, I been complaining about that as someone who lives near her hometown (which does not have a boston accent). She always puts it on when she's being the "tough guy"
Someone could probably explain it better but if you remember those little hand games where you had to get the balls into the holes in the center, it was that with 5 balls, but they were suspended in the air, looking down on it. It required alot of body strength so I shouldnt say it was just a puzzle, but yah. Not the elimination I would want to see those two in.
brandon almost had it the whole time and lee snuck up on last minute and pulled it out
Kam/Leroy/Jasmine/Brandon betrayed Cara in episode 4 and she got her revenge and got Brandon out against Leroy. And a lot of Nicole and Laurel. That was honestly it. But it had such a throwback vibe that I loved it.
starts with Cara talking about how Kam/Leroy spearheaded the move to put Cara and Rachel in elimination last episode. They convinced Jasmine and Brandon to turn on Cara and Cara was ******.
lots of narration from Cara about revenge and targeting that group in the future
There was a convo between Laurel and Cara talking about how mad Cara was. When Cara walked away Laurel looked into the camera (it was funny)
Cara and Leroy talked and Leroy said to talk to Kam before the daily
Cara, Kam, Leroy, and Brandon talked and it was pretty heated. Kam kept saying she turned on Cara because of the "Ayanna situation" which from what I can gather it sounds like Kam wanted Ayanna in elimination against Rachel but Cara voted Flora instead. Cara claimed that she's just doing it because Kam is scared to face her and is coming up with fake reasons to justify it
in that convo Brandon also talked about how him and Cara are supposedly friends but she hasn't reached out to him in like 8 years ****
The daily was a throwback to Duel 2- they had to run up a hill wearing bobble head helmets while TJ went down a bobsled track. Once TJ reached the bottom he opened the team's water container and water started pouring out. Once the team made it up the hill they got on their individual bobsleds and throughout the course there were bags of water hanging above the course. The goal was to grab them and at the bottom pour them in their container and then close the hole once they were done. whichever team got the most water per second it took them to do the challenge won
Brad really ****** it up for his team- he kept grabbing all the bags and then dropping them
Derek was the MVP for his team
Ryan was on laurel's team and they finished but he still had a bag in his shirt
Derek's team won- it was him, Kefla, Steve, Kam, and _____.
Jay, Cara, Veronica, Adam, and ____ got second and was in the middle group. They got to vote 2 men into elimination and led by Cara it was pretty much unanimous for Brandon and Leroy besides Jay who didn't want to vote Brandon
They showed a lot of Laurel and Nicole messing around. Flora talked to Nicole about how she shouldn't lead Laurel on if she's not interested in her. There was a whole clip of them like wrestling on the floor lol
Laurel and Nicole "cuddled" in bed together and then the next day Nicole said they need boundaries and they shouldn't do that again. Laurel cried to Cara and Averey about how hard it was with Nicole last time and how she changed her phone number to isolate herself from her. Cara said that regardless of what happens in the game she will always be here
At the elimination Derek (the only guy on the winning team who didn't have a star) had the choice of going into elimination instead of either Brandon or Leroy and he did not. The elimination was a maze where they needed to land 5 balls into holes in the center of the maze while they were hanging in the air and holding the maze up to move it. Brandon started in the lead but Leroy came back and at the end they were tied 4-4 and Leroy got his last ball in
leroy decided to steal Adam's star
the "next on" scenes showed the daily in the stadium where they were fighting for certain chairs (a clip was in the trailer). They showed Nicole telling Laurel to take her pants off
On the recap, (two elims ago) Kam wanted Cara to vote for Rachel as one to go in an elim against Ayanna, Cara had a deal with Rachel not to say her name so she didn't, Rachel still went in and Ayanna went home. Then because Cara didn't vote the way Kam wanted, Kam got Leroy, Brandon, and Jasmine to vote Cara vs Rachel the next elim which Cara won obvs.
Cara gave her extra star she won to Jasmine to make her a target as revenge (and not Kam because Kam was in the winning / untouchable group).
Then in this actual ep, Cara is now angry at everyone who voted for her, saying they were all her friends, lots of drama. Her team ends up being the one to vote people in, they pick Leroy and Brandon, Leroy wins and Brandon went home. Leroy took Adam's star.
Nicole and Laurel were also gross, Nicole telling Laurel to set boundaries but then still flirting with Laurel so Laurel is confused/crying. Avery and Cara comfort Laurel.
Can someone clarify the Nicole fiance situation? Because she clearly said in the interview that the engagement was over before filming, but I coulda sworn she had posted a pic of the two of them right before leaving?
Wait, why does it sound more beneficial to not get first?
Yeah I was thinking that too. It's best for star holders to get first and non star holders to be in the middle (unless they want to volunteer and go into elimination)
Lol Cara switching up her accent halfway. definition of fake.
Averey - irrelevant
"Even if we're fighting to the death, you have me" is kind of a killer line from Cara to Laurel. I thought I was over their frenemy/sister drama but this sucked me right back in.
Such a good fun episode!
Cara's accent after the elimination. Where did that come from?
wow. Once again, all stars proves to be the superior product! Much better editing, better music choices (loved blu cantrell in the beginning!) people really need to put respect on this show because it really is so much of a better than the flagship has been FOR YEARS!

I AM SO EXCITED FOR THIS SEASON
besides ratcoleCara picks and chooses when to use that accent, I been complaining about that as someone who lives near her hometown (which does not have a boston accent). She always puts it on when she's being the "tough guy"
Can someone tell me what happens on fifth episode
what was the elim?
Someone could probably explain it better but if you remember those little hand games where you had to get the balls into the holes in the center, it was that with 5 balls, but they were suspended in the air, looking down on it. It required alot of body strength so I shouldnt say it was just a puzzle, but yah. Not the elimination I would want to see those two in.

I'm still watching (I stopped to go to dinner but kept it paused) so it's not down for me yet. Still at the daily
Whoops, should have downloaded that VPN fast and resubbed to P+ or sumn. Oh well!
They were suspended in the air and attached to a ball maze by their legs and hands then had to land 5 balls in certain spots in the center.
I think if you still have it open, it'll play. But if you go to the show page, it's not available anymore.
Kam/Leroy/Jasmine/Brandon betrayed Cara in episode 4 and she got her revenge and got Brandon out against Leroy. And a lot of Nicole and Laurel. That was honestly it. But it had such a throwback vibe that I loved it.
The editing was AMAZING. Very old school.
Was it close between Rachel and Cara?
Also nice house, loved the swing in the pool
I dont think we know if it was close between rachel and cara, it looked like the elimination was them throwing ninja stars at their pictures?
They're throwing knives at a big checkerboard, we have no idea.
Summary of AS4 episode 5:

Good recaps guys.
**** i wish i watched the leaked episode
Can someone clarify the Nicole fiance situation? Because she clearly said in the interview that the engagement was over before filming, but I coulda sworn she had posted a pic of the two of them right before leaving?
Wait, why does it sound more beneficial to not get first?
Y'all forgot Adam pushing Veronica buttfirst up a hill and Granddaughter Laurel gently helping Grandmama Flora into her luge LOL.
If you have a star, you absolutely want first. You're immune from eliminations AND getting your star stolen.
Yeah I was thinking that too. It's best for star holders to get first and non star holders to be in the middle (unless they want to volunteer and go into elimination)
What was the bit about the safe stars or whatever they called it? The ones king kefla and steve had?
Super safe or something like that? They won the daily.
