Not at all it happens in stages. They do the challenge and the winning team deliberates who to send in from the team that got 3rd place. 2nd place also strategizes to send in their own but not in a deliberation setting. This can stay in the house amongst each other in private.
At elimination winning team votes in a team from 3rd place. 2nd place votes in their own out loud. And finally last place team steps up to the draw. Then they compete
Just like the regular show you get 1 deliberation and votes at the arena. The only additional thing is the draw to add a 3rd competitor.
Maybe it's better if the winners announce their selection right after the daily ends and give the deliberation scene to 2nd place.

So that means Olivia and Nurys are getting paid more than Aviv. Aviv is the least paid member of the entire cast with only 1 season under her belt. And Kyland.

With Susie being more than interested it seems dumb not to have her on for season 40, whether you love her or don't care for her (I love her) you have to admit she is one of the smartest strategic players in the games history.

If eliminations are puzzle based Aviv because arguably the best person there. Aviv is still in great shape and has stamina. Laurel/Emily are 1-2 preseason on that team but Aviv is arguably more valuable because of the puzzles than Cara or KellyAnne.

the puzzles have obviously changed since 2007 or whenever it was, and she hasn't done the show since then, so there is no way to say "she is the best at puzzles". Darrell was practically unbeatable back then and look at him now, people change

How have the puzzles changed? If you want to say we don't know her math skills fine. But all other puzzles are logic and spacial awareness. That's not something lost. Darrell isn't as good physically. This isn't a physical attribute.
