wait so why has the challenge been airing purposely to compete with survivor knowing that it will lower the ratings? is there some sort of strategy behind that? cause it didn't work. they could have easily just put it on a separate day.
they need to go back to Thursdays when BB is not the schedule
Ratings always climb throughout the season. This has nothing to do with champs. It's the same conversation every year about how it starts off low and then they start to slowly rise over time and then y'all ****

And it's because they air the first 10 episodes the same time as Survivor and then Survivor ends.
It's the highest rated show on MTV they're doing fine. This show isn't in any danger of being canceled
Never said it was, ratings are still bad. If everyone else in the trailer park has a penny in their checking account, but you have a dime. You're still poor.
I read an article a few days ago about the possible merges with paramount and depending on who they merge with, they would get rid of channels that would be duplicated with the merge. Now MTV has lost its identity and doesn't seem to know what it is anymore, I could see MTV being nixed. But they would still have the app, and cbs if they wanted to go that route. So as people said before, I dont think the challenge was ever gonna get cancelled on mtv. But mtv is another story depending on who merges with paramount

Thursday or Tuesday pick a day
Tuesdays to get away from Thursday Night Football.
the preview makes it look like CT could be coming
if i was nurys or jay i would be constantly promoting how good the ratings are and how they dont need vets anymore

Ratings aren't great, yall are living in a fantasy.
These ratings are 1000% comfortably in "renewed" territory.
Still aren't good.

Every season people are like omg the ratings are terrible like they aren't the best on the network.
it's literally the only thing keeping MTV alive lmaoooo
The Challenge is paying MTV bills

Are they still airing ridiculousness 24/7 on mtv?
and here i thought i was the know it all lol
The CT episode is probably gonna be the highest rated
Episode 13- Viewed by 526,000 people and received a 0.21 rating in the 18-49 demographic

Oh Brad don't save the franchise like that
They better tune in after the CT episode, end game will be way better than chaos

Putting the show on while Survivor's airing is pure negligence. You add 50%-75% to your viewership when they are not directly competing.
Word. Especially if the show is prompting up Michelle, a recognizable survivor face.
Brad's doing more than cara is not something I would have ever predicted... maybe they should think about putting allstars 4 on mtv
They might as well they ain't gon have nothing new to show while 40 films
Imagine if they matain these ratings once the champions stop coming next week
the ratings will go up on the reunion when Darrell attacks Asaf, and kyland attacks somebody.
