They literally just tried an All-Winners spinoff and didn't have the numbers to do it so they threw on extras. If they did pull it off, it would be just as boring as the failed spinoff. It needs to be the USA2 format with 3 teams (all the way through) Champs vs Loser Vets vs Rookies.
This season isn't bad so far. The problem is the editing, and that's been the issue.
This cast still hates each other, I just hope they keep that energy. It's Invasion-lite, not quite as messy, but the disdain is there.
The editing has been a huge issue for years, that combined with this low tier cast has to be incredibly lame tbh.
While this wouldn't have been the cast I would've chosen, I think a few of them are providing something.
And, the editing makes it worse than it is. Big T was saying Colleen was fake-flirting and cuddling with her while trying to get her out, that should've been shown and fleshes out Colleen more than her wanting to be a willing side-piece.
They didn't even edit in why Jessica got sent when that also was the reason Chauncey got sent (they would've sent him in any way but that played a part). They cut out Nurys and Berna arguing before Berna and Melissa, when that's why Nurys put a burn vote on Berna. The show is it's own worse enemy.

It's pretty bad. The show has an identity crisis and doesn't recognize it's issues therefore repeating them year after year. They don't realize the show needs to be fun and not so serious. This year is so bland and repetitive. The same confessional look was a mistake, the format is terrible. The US vs UK thing has been exhausted. This group can't carry on their own. There's no star power. The fact that Elmer was bragging how this season was serious and not fun before the premiere just shows they'll never recognize their faults and fix them.
Idk, I just never see Amber returning. She has a child and she would be first target with no allies like 98% of the time.

Okay, Amber might come back one more time, but she's definitely getting Chauncey'd. And she's good enough to win three or four eliminations in a row but eventually she would slip up. Half the Ride or Die cast couldn't even pretend to be happy at her pregnancy news. She has no allies.
The last thing this show needs is meek women, Amber can stay gone. She'll spend the whole time crying about missing her daughter. We need funny, loud, and outspoken women.

I liked RoD till the twist. We just lost all the entertaining teams early. This season sounds like it will probably be the opposite where it'll get good at the twist (for once) and have a solid finish. If edited correctly and that's a big IF lol.
