The sad part is most people don't even care if he was or wasn't UTI, they hate Nelson regardless and it's hilarious to me. Let's see CT or Bananas get in a near death accident and see the difference in response.

And, if he was we would've known by now.

I just think people are looking for a reason not to empathize and that's really weird. But we know why and if there is a hell I hope it's hot.

Precisely.

Cosigning.

I cannot imagine what he must be going through. I hope the Challenge production and community give him the utmost support.

Why is that?  I wouldn't care who it was as I don't have empathy for anyone who created their own issues.

And we may or may not know by not truthfully. It sucks regardless but it could be literally anyone and I'd question the events that lead to the accident. If it was John or CT I'd actually be more likely to believe they were under the influence of something...especially CT.

We would know, TMZ literally knows everything. Especially unethical and juicy sensational stuff that would add to more clicks.

Theyve broken the law to give the scoop and plenty of more relevant and dangerous people than Nelson Thomas lol

Yet no cause was ever announced for the loss, right?   We don't know the events leading up to the crash.  Unless it was a medical emergency or a mechanical failure it's his fault, right?

The cause I believe was mentioned I just don't remember the details enough to say something I could be wrong about.

But, if he was UTI that would've been brought to the forefront; it's been nine months I doubt we wouldn't have heard about that if that were the case.

And, because it's been so long speculating something we don't have proof of when he's potentially losing a limb is weird. Like, yeah I could understand people being less sympathetic if he was but that's NEVER been brought up.

Bringing it up at this point is just an ugly thing to do and it 100% minimizes what he's going through. It feels like (or rather it is) just people's way of saying they don't like Nelson and are happy this happened to him. Rationalizing his pain by making up a scenario that has never been proven is unhinged and screams they just hate Black people.

dude come on bruh. this isn't the place for your BS. Just sit this one out.

He should definitely get 2nd and 3rd opinions before making a decision. But if it really comes down to it, he should amputate tbh. Prosthetics have come such a long way, he'll definitely be more mobile with one than with a bone fusion.

I wish him all the best, such a bad, hard decision either way. He really loves the Challenge and it's sad seeing this may be the end of that for him. I know it's a pipe dream, but I would kill to see Nelly win if he's able to compete with a prosthetic.

Of course you think it's about race instead of accepting that people just don't care about others.  I'd be this skeptical with literally anyone and I think you'd be skeptical if it was CT or John who was used as your example. As would it be for everyone.

the amputation would be the better choice here, and would open up a larger world of possibilities for him with paralympics.

Those can go hand in hand.  And, I can assure you a lot of fans that would say that about Nelly wouldn't say that about either of them.

And, no I wouldn't be skeptical if it was either of them myself, because without proof that's an ugly thing to think about especially months after the fact when he's expressing he may no longer have a foot.

If I were skeptical about anything regarding CT it would be me thinking people are turning Lili into the crazy baby mama but that's a different discussion.

And for those wanting to claim its about race...if it was Darrell, Leroy, Kefla, Laterrian, Theo G, Syrus, Brandon, etc the reaction would be different.

Then you just want to assume the best of people.  I assume the worst especially when I've been able to see their behavior for years.

Im fine with you and others claiming people just don't like Nelson and aren't being fair to him until you claim it's about race.

And for those wanting to claim its about race...if it was Darrell, Leroy, Kefla, Laterrian, Theo G, Syrus, Brandon, etc the reaction would be different.

You comparing the other Black men who are either non-factors to the fandom or Darrell and Leroy who are the "safe" picks (with Alton) when it's more accurate to compare the white men who have a history of doing stupid.

Tony for example has had a drinking problem in the past, and I can assure you if someone brought this up in the same context the majority would look at them crazy for assuming Tony was intoxicated during a car accident, when that was never discussed before.

So yes race does play a part, on top of people just being nasty as ****.

I don't assume the best of people at all, but off-rip that wouldn't be my assumption if Bananas and CT were in this situation.

I don't even think this fits them for one and it's not like I think all that highly of them anyway.

That's not true. And everyone here knows if it was Tony I'd be attacking nonstop where as with Nelson I just have doubt.

Race isn't a factor at all. Not one bit. You just want it to be.

I think KVM fails to understand it's not just him I'm referring to; my statements are about how Challenge fans move about certain people in general.

We know you're an equal opportunist hater. But anyway not how I intend on spending the rest of my Friday night. You be easy, KVM1977, Esq.

This went so off topic. Anyways praying for nelly

Right you're making assumptions about people in general without any facts or logic. Just bias.  It's fine. Enjoy your night.

To think 2 days ago I pmed pinkrose asking if kvm is okay I hadn't seen him post in ages

KVM just wish him well and štfû.

Just wish him well not everything has to be a fight like always shit. A lot of yall are always miserable about every ******* thing.

But anyways I Hope he gets another decision as this is a big decision to make... but yeah sadly that challenge career is over which seems like one of the major things he loves to do and was his career.

If Aneesa can still do challenges with a million füčked up ankles then hopefully Nelson will be able to return one day even if with a prosthetic.

KVM just wish him well and štfû.

Maybe some posters shouldn't make asinine comments and just wish him well to start with...

If Alcohol was involved I am pretty sure we would have known since the moment TMZ posted it.

& then he came back crazier than ever

Crazier than ever?   lol

People don't lack empathy for Nelson due to his race.  They lack it due to his past actions and they're skeptical based on his past incidents involving alcohol. (watch Invasion, XXX, basically any season he's been on).  Just like anyone sane would think the same about Tony and many others that have been on the show.  It was a one car accident--barring a medical emergency or a mechancial failure (which we also likely know by now) it's his fault he's in the situation.  If people want to feel bad for Nelson who's fully responsible for his situation as far as we know then great.  And if holding people accountable for their actions is crazy and not feeling bad for them for what they created that's cool.  He'll learn to live with this just like countless others have.  That's his only option.
