Historically family pairs do make it far, but none of them had a reality TV vet. And, none were nominated week one.
Plus, at least one of them could win comps.
Cirie is very smart and if Jared has his mom's brain like he does her face, I can see them leveraging the dynamic. But, Jared is in an odd position and that could hurt him.
If anyone can keep it a secret and play it off that it's her son is Cirie. There should have been another black male or 2 though to give them less suspicion.

Idk why we are still shocked about this outcome in 2023. Black people SUCK AT REALITY TV SHOW COMPETITIONS. ESPECIALLY PUZZLES AND SWIMMING. We have watched enough Survivor, BB, The Challenge to know this. Most black americans can't swim because our parents can't swim because our grandparents weren't allowed to swim. It's a domino effect. It's literal American history. This EXACT same thing happened during the cook out season. Remember all the black people lost the opening competitions? This always happens. It will continue to happen it is what it is. We just don't thrive outside of physical contact sports.
