they're saying this season has drama and so that drama will likely continue, so the cast isn't seeming to be the issue. and with these dynamics i really do think they will be entertaining (maybe not old school level, but good enough). what will make or break this season is how they'll edit it.
Was bored and reading old threads...not me crying about the same thing for over a decade now lol.
fandoms always act like their favorite franchise has gone to shit and how the previous installments were better. it's always happened and will continue to happen
i promise you around 5 or so years from now there will be people complaining and wanting to go back to the spy themes with an emphasis on competitiveness. it's always the beginning of the end for some people

Those were fair complaints lol and I actually loved Rivals 2 at the time (this post was preseason). Besides the teens in this thread whose standard of great is the Paul Brothers, everyone will agree this show has gone downhill SIGNIFICANTLY and is poorly produced in every way.

No. This is stupid.
i'm not saying the majority of the fanbase will do it or you will (i def wont either, i havent even watched the past 2 seasons) but there is quite a select few that always will prefer the past installments of something just because it brings back memories. that is a very common occurance in many things

i promise you none of the 'teens' in this thread are stanning the paul brothers, that's an entirely different demographic so far out of left field lol what
and even if they did they're still probably better than the JEK crew that some people still romanticize as the good days
The initial theme atleast for the first two episodes before the legend elimination twist sounds like house vote someone in and the other person picks their opponent
I can't believe that Hughie wasn't picked in the first episode. How bad did Chauncey have to do in the mission to get picked

Good! Let that serve as a warning for the girlies that wanna pick on big t thinking she won't whoop that *** in the lair (in the event Jessica was the house vote)
Jessica is like 4 feet lol That's like beating a Nicole Ramos type of girl in an elimination

mhm why are you assumming Chauncey was picked
Chauncey got last, selected his opponet, and lost?
No way. The next person back is not Chauncey, what a joke.
I guess I could kindaaa see the logic for Chauncey picking James. if all he knew about James was that he was the first boot of his season then I can see the thought process. dunno how James did during that first daily too. still shoulda picked Hughie tho lol

I was thinking chauncey would be more connected than James tbh. I still don't understand the logic of not picking Hughie

Everybody isn't playing for an easy win. Half the people wondering why he didn't pick Hughie would be laughing at him for playing scared if he did.
Plus, Hughie is cool with Amber I believe, I don't see why Chuancey would sever a connection so early in the game with potential short-term gain.
You should be going for the easy win, that's encouraged by the format lol. Picking your opponent means you have the chance to decide if you're going home or not, and he chose wrong.

Logan Paul is a wrestler now and actually quite entertaining

A man is not going to use that format to pick the easiest opponent especially not the first elimination. Pride before the fall.
Atleast on the others even if I don't have a favorite there are people I am rooting against to keep interested enough for me to care. On this one not even that not even Michelle and Jay *** are fun to root against.
You and Gamer should do a poll on if the general public wants y'all to do spoilers. If interest isn't there, then why waste your time. U guys could have a season off.

Last season didn't feel like the spy theme left. Just a different color scheme
