I wonder if production expect them to lose against the mercenaries. How would there be any progress if nobody gets booted those nights? Is that where purges come in?
I'm sure they do think they're going to lose.
We haven't had purges in a minute so I'm inclined to think that won't be the case but if there's an uneven amount.
Like what if the guys beat three mercs, and the girls all lose? Or vice versa.
Even doing double eliminations to chop excess fat feels a bit unfair, considering they already took out "better" opponents.
Idk if they all end up doing very well against mercs I see them being punished with some game shift mid-way.

Production doesn't think things out. Someone through the idea out and they ran with it and will adjust/make up the rules needed or as they see fit. We have to realize they aren't professionals, they are all a dying network can affod hence we are getting poor products every season.

Yall know what would actually be super iconic? If Sarah Greyson came in to compete in Dead Man's Drop. I'd forgive Josh coming, Devon's rigged elimination, and every other dumb aspect of this weak twist if they pulled that off.
i don't think it's even half ***, from the beginning i think they 100% wanted to punish these almost new people ith twists and their own vets getting free elimination wins.
Emphasis they are "the best" because in their eyes that's an amazing look before they bring them all back for 40 with whatever 3/4 people survive this circus show of a season and impress them
given that Callum AND Ciarran followed Aneesa, she probably was there with Jordan and they're gonna spin it as "the ride or die duo comes in together" so my guess is
