Again, just because you and I like that cast doesn't make it a good cast. See what happened after that. Production couldn't get anyone they wanted to the point they pretended Jamie was a rookie and couldn't get anyone to replace Jo. Hell, casting Jo alone tells you everything you need to know. So, after that we got Fresh Meat and constant regulars. Then the same happened after Seasons--the same will happen the same after this season too. The people that thought ratings were bad the last couple seasons haven't seen anything yet especially with the lack of Americans.
Johnny being cut is so baffling, he brings main character energy to a cast that may end up desperately needing it. He's basically a much younger Cory and they should be promoting him the same way they did Cory for Vendettas, who knows maybe Johnny won't end up being a career flop like Cory did.
As far as the rest of the guys, Horacio is exciting considering he wasn't expected, I'd guess he saw the cast and figured he was more likely to make $500k here than whatever the split is at his tourney like $50k for the winners or whatever. I'm glad Joss is back and yes he's the favourite on paper but production is not letting that man win under any circumstance, they'll throw him out of a plane without a parachute if they have to in the final but he is not crossing that finish line in first unless it's close enough to rig the times

comparing young cory to johnny is very lazy, cory legit liked to hook up from everything ravyn and nurys have said about him he was def using them for storylines. still like him but yeah
I kinda love this cast idc. We've been asking for no tired played out casual favorites like Johnny, Jordan and CT and no overused vets like tori, kaycee, nany etc forever.
yes some of these personalities are lacking, but i like that they're finally investing in some new blood and new storylines cause the show was feeling very tired from Total madness til now

And what is casting Jo exactly supposed to tell me? At the time in the show's history they were still casting random Real Worlders and Road Rulers. Jo fit the bill. Her being on the show turned out to be a stroke of genius and she created one of the most talked about moments in Challenge history.

There is some potential and it had a lot of potential of being amazing even if casuals wouldn't have liked it but production dropped the ball as usual. This still has possibility to be wayyyyy better than anything since WOTW2.
corey lay was unbearably annoying on twitter between SLA airing and ROD filming, so i had to block him. now that he's been out of sight and out of mind for a year, i am actually very excited to see him again!! i really enjoyed him on SLA and am glad he is getting a second chance
