I do think a redemption type season before a big bang for 40 would be good to get something different. i'd hope they'd not just get recent flops tho but flops from all over the other 30+ seasons
I think fan reactions will be negative, but given the writers strike, I expect it still to get decentish views since some channels are saying theyre not putting out scripted content until 2024 and all we will have is reality tv.

I actually like the redemption idea but do wish they had more people from throughout the seasons, especially people who have bad luck on these shows.
Maybe an unpopular opinion, but Id like to see Kellyanne and Cohutta on a season with a theme like that, but theres no way either is doing the flagship. And I doubt production would ever do an All Stars redemption because that means none of their golden boys, especially now that CT has expressed hes over playing with the kids and wants to do All Stars.
I don't think the Writers Strike will make people watch more Reality TV, people are already looking for reasons to cancel cable subscriptions and unplug the TV anyway.
