I really think that they went to cbs.com and just scrolled through the cast websites from the last 2 seasons and picked based on pics to fit their diversity needs. Just not sure how they got Seaweed. Did they just just scroll through the seasons till they found the first skinny looking surfer boy?

i was ignoring it before i saw the alts, but this is legitimately the worst cast of rookies they've had since spies lies allies. no one who watched survivor ghost island would want sebastian who had 2 seconds of airtime and 1 confessional for 13 episodes.
maybe the theme is most unmemorable rookies on CBS shows
Ya'll really just glossed over that comment that said Owen got cut...Sebastian (who I don't even know/remember) probably took his Survivor male spot, and that's annoying. Wouldn't he add more diversity to this anyway? I feel like they purposely cut the rookie men that could actually be well rounded threats...
Anyways, I hope this a team format, but they'll probably do some twist 2/3 of the way through where they shift to gender days if they want like 10-12 episodes like the other spin-offs lol.

they'd have to be either teams of 4 or 8 with the captains competing at the same time. if everybody got their own team but didn't compete that'd leave them with 3 people and an uneven gender distribution.
