The article says he only got out with burns and bruises. That's a miracle given the damage to that vehicle. I can only imagine the fear he felt, thank god someone was there

The police reports dont mention anything about him being under the influence and im sure they wouldve blasted him because who is protecting nelson. a very strange story

Agreed, obviously don't condone DWI but when it's a single car/passenger crash and he didn't harm anyone else then doesn't matter if he was drunk or not to me just glad he's safe
