Her and Reiley's communication was horrible. From what I remember, only 3 teams legit completed it (Theresa/Wes, Leroy/Nia & Jordan/Sarah) and the other 4 went into sudden death. Adam/Brittany and Jonna/Zach were in the bottom two so Averey/Johnny & Jay/Jenna were tied for 4th
Averey/Johnny did good for the most part minus the puzzle portion because those two were the second fastest to the mountain behind Theresa/Wes
I do wonder if they're gonna keep this format the whole time, especially for the last elimination. It gives wayyyy too much power to the last elimination winners, and I can't see production allowing someone to get sent home because someone stole a star from them at the last second. I could be wrong though
It makes for great TV--the only person that should be safe in that scenario are the daily winners. If you dont' win the last daily then your fate is in someone's else hands. That's on you.
This is a great format for those that want to see people like Veronica, Flora, Ace, Ryan or Derek last long. Jasmine too so who knows what happened there.
I feel like that is a different show. This is The Challenge, where people are sent home due to losing a challenge.
My idea: What if the final elimination was a double elimination, and then the two people from each gender who got their star stolen went into the actual final elimination where winner stays and loser goes?
if someone with a star gets beat in elimination, the person who beat them would just take their star right?
That's my guess since it ensures there's always 6 people with stars. But then it kind of takes some power away that comes with winning an elimination so it's lowkey better to keep the people with stars out of elimination so then you can pick from anyone
Cara is a great player but why are people so confident that she wins the final if she gets there? She's fully capable but her track record indicates she can be beat. Her win percentage is only 25%.

I do think Cara struggles in finals especially when it comes to eating and puzzles

Laurel also still has a lot of natural athleticism even she doesn't super work out. Really the type of workouts people should be doing for the challenge, as far as just physical stuff, is climbing, running, and swimming. And do enough strength and flexibility work so u don't hopefully hurt yourself.

this is set up to be a great season if they can only not edit out drama & not focus half the episode on a daily challenge or elimination
