Can you imagine the outrage if Cara, Laurel, or Kam get their star stolen on the last round and ger purged without losing an elimination or even a challenge? This can go so, so, so wrong.

I'm fully here for that. No different than The Island for example.

No set teams or pairs! Similar to Free agents and dirty 30 it changes on every daily sometimes individual, pairs or teams. In order to make it to the final they need one of the 6 stars (3 males & 3 for females) that were given out after the first challenge. If they had an star already and win an elimination they can steal it to give it to someone else but if they steal from a female they have to give to a female or from a male they have to give it to a male.

But The Island's format absolutely sucked.
the island sucked because of a lot of things but the "purge" with no keys wasn't one of them. Total madness and double agents were probably the worst formats of all time because they acted like there was some "urgency" to getting skulls but then just let the game play out until everyone had a skull and they were down to the number of people to run a final. There would be a lot more urgency if there were a set number of eliminations and after that anyone without a skull/star got eliminated as the final started
So there's the reason ryan and Derek are still there lmao. If I'm winning dailies over and over then I'm giving them stars for sure
What do you mean? The 6 stars were given to the top 3 from each gender after the first daily after that whoever wins elimination can steal the star from those 6 initial stars holder.

Wait so this means then that whoever wins the last elimination makes the final automatically and no one else does, right? Like all you have to do is win the final elimination and do nothing else the whole season.
Seems to me then that it's not worth getting a star too early.
This makes it interesting too because if you're Brad, you're essentially screwed unless you win the final elimination. As they'd be a bunch of morons to let him make the final. On the flip side, the girls should NEVER let Cara or Laurel go into an elimination. But knowing these idiots, they probably already have stars.

what if someone already has a star? Can they steal it and give it to someone else
If I had to guess who won the opening challenge and got stars, I'd say:
GUYS: Jay, Kefla & Leroy
GIRLS: Cara Maria, Flora & Jasmine
Cara having a star WOULD make sense in the idea that Kam possibly beat one of Ayanna or Rachel and stole Cara's star; This could apply to Jasmine as she was "double-crossed" and MAYBE a close ally got her voted into elimination with her to steal her star as an easy out
Jay having a star could explain why he has been safe for a while. He wins the first challenge, earns a star but still holds the reputation as a quitter so someone like Leroy or Steve might try to preserve Jay's star for a while
Flora having a star seems like a reason as to why she has survived this long, and considering that she was said to have never going into elim the round Janelle went out could explain why
Kefla having a star is just a placeholder because he probably lost his star, tried to get it back via going into elim but then lost
This season is catered to Leroy so he probably got one from the jump

Lets say TJ on episode 1 was on the top 3 then somehow gets voted in on episode 2 to an elimination and win it then since he already has an star for himself he can steal any of the other 5 stars. The only rule is if he steals it from a girl he has to give to a girl or of he steals from one of the guys he has to give to another guy

Thats what I'm saying. He was never last place in a daily. His bad reputation as a quitter in a final might protect his star because people want to run a final against him. So him winning the first challenge and maybe a few more after makes perfect sense
No, he isn't just a bad competitor in general he isn't elite or the next Landon. But for whatever reason people have been making it seem like he is horrible when all he didn't do was drink something on a final.

honestly during that exes season he wasn't bad. he's just annoying
Ehhh I don't want a purge that production is going to rig
Still not over MTV rigging that swimming purge sending home Kayleigh/Joss when Kam/Leroy were last
If there's a purge I feel like it should be a mini final
meaning that at a certain point in the game if you have no star you can't run the final. Not a joss/Kayleigh situation lol

But The Island's format absolutely sucked.
Can someone sum up what the stars format is for this? I don't see the initial post about it anywhere recently. Is it the same as AS3?
Initial Format:
No set teams or pairs! Similar to Free agents and dirty 30 it changes on every daily sometimes individual, pairs or teams. I like the format. 6 stars is kinda crazy hmmm
So there's the reason ryan and Derek are still there lmao. If I'm winning dailies over and over then I'm giving them stars for sure
Pink, how are the people chosen to go into elimination?
What do you mean? The 6 stars were given to the top 3 from each gender after the first daily after that whoever wins elimination can steal the star from those 6 initial stars holder.
not if your a woman you don't want to do that

Cara/Laurel are saving flora for that last elimination

Jay isn't a bad competitor
In this cast of males*

All I know is that Veronica, Flora, Tina, Ace, Adam, and Steve will have the 6 stars to run the final.
honestly during that exes season he wasn't bad. he's just annoying
Pink, is a massive purge of the starless coming? If only six finalists, I feel like disaster is right around the corner.
