OS I actually really like the cast - like would I rather have Elka, Anne, Susie, and Sarah there, yes. But outside of Tony, Leroy, Jordan, Laurel, and Nicole Z it's a solid cast. Those five I would happily take on the flagship! But it's realistic sadly.
Random thought, but I wonder if someone from Northern Trail will get on. We saw Roni this past season. Maybe she makes it on again? Also Tara was an alternate, and I feel like Dan and Anne would say yes. Dan was one of the top performing guys in the old version.

I hate it lol. Well love small parts of it. Not my dream cast it's just what I expect.

I love Elka. She was fun sidekick to Coral. I think the hilarious recurring theme was how she won the first challenge in the gauntlet. And wouldn't stop talking about. And then when she got eliminated, she took that giant check home, and try to sell it on ebay.
I'll say this as someone who has loved S1-3 of All Stars:
This series has never been what I hoped it would be:
Lack of cast credits accompanied to the tune of some cheesy 2000s punk rock song
The show has the same "darkness" as the mainline Challenge has had in recent seasons
They're not returning to Real World vs. Road Rules, Good Guys vs. Bad *****, (you could do Rookies vs. Vets by recruiting older people who have never done a Challenge, too)
Intense dailies instead of the standard "Backyard games" from the show's glory years
Overemphasis on individual competition instead of rallying around your favorite team
Lack of focus on ALLIANCES and throwing missions
So when the cast is rumored to lack some of the old-school legends...I'm disappointed but they tend to deliver enough for me and the series isn't what I had hoped it'd be anyways, so I just enjoy the people I haven't seen in a while and that's that.
I agree with the above. There's 20 versions of the same show and format. Same vibe and everything. Every spin-off needs it's own identity. The identity for this wads the easiest to create but in typical Challenge production they have missed the mark in sooo mamy ways.
KVM what would your ideal all stars cast look like?
Not realistic--Holly Shand, Veronica Portillo, Rachel Robinson, Irulan Wilson, Coral Smith, Elka Walker, Sarah Rice, Susie Meister, Mallory Snyder, Christena Pyle, Jonna Mannion and Jenn Grijalva....the guys are less important--Landon Lueck, Dan Setzler, Theo Von, Shane Landrum, Theo Gantt, Eric Nies, Randy Barry, Teck Holmes, Timmy Beggy, Kefla Hare, CJ Koegel and Frank Sweeney.

I agree with a lot of this. Apparently the single winner over team winners regarding prize money is an issue but if that wasn't a thing I would have literally had the first 3 seasons as "The Inferno: All Stars", "The Duel: All Stars" and "The Gauntlet: All Stars" with the next being Duel AS 2 or Cutthroat All Stars. I honestly would have just been happy with these all being the Duels if teams didn't work.

It has enough people that I would be content, obviously they got casting wrong but you came up with one that would make me still excited to watch even with all the horrible ignoring they did. Minus the people I said though lol

Very well said <3 they had a great opportunity that would have been amazing, especially given the interest of people wanting to come back. They could have made this fun - but the casting department / Justin Booth ruined it. It's been amazing to see so many great faces return, but so many more could have and had they made this fun and how the show started out like, we probably could have gotten a lot more people.
The personalties of the earlier seasons is why this show did so well, I could care less if they are jumping through flaming hoops 20 floors above a shark tank. Seeing them dress in chicken suits and doing a relay of putting worms in their mouth or just balancing on a long beam being the last not to fall (Miz vs Roni) was more entertaining. People had freedom and had fun and the drama still was there. It's a shame. I'm still grateful for these seasons and getting some people back but it could have gone even further.

Yet I loved the drama surrounding Road Rules trying to rid themselves of Katie in the Inferno. It's all about the bigger picture IMO.

Chavo, Gamer already said a lot of those won't be on.
i wanted to cheat & check Gamer's Twitter but was too lazy. All I could remember was that there will supposedly be no one who has done all 3 previous seasons. Who did they confirm would not be on?
I don't wanna get disappointed
OS i agree with your list literally for everyone beside Jodi. i don't see her doing this one after doing the world championship 2 months ago
When Adam L & Danny from NO do all stars: exes together
I hope we get king steve the hand model again lol
I unironically love this cast.

I do think Katie could still show up or I could at least see her agreeing to be a two week paid alternate.

This cast is realistic, meets the 50% POC quota, & is nothing to write home about. So yea AS4 will probably look something like this.
Wow--that's awful so probably correct. I do kind of think we'll see Danny Jamieson though
Throwing missions is lame and boring
Ryan and Ruthie <3
