Yeah that's what I was thinking. Ain't no way these people would be fine with a price cut on the grand prize. Plus, that's what encourages ruthless gameplay. Otherwise none of them would care about playing the game and making moves as much, because they'd already be mostly satisfied with that increased appearance fee y'all reference. I do agree about making the environment more lax though and allowing them to communicate with their families more. They can make it light and fun while still securing their competitiveness with a hefty grand prize total.
Umm...we saw what happened in season 1. No one cared especially the girls because they knew they wouldn't win. Jon and whoever can claim they think they can win but they can't. And Jon would show up if the appearance fee was 100 donkey kicks to the nuts. He does not care one bit about that prize. Do not let him fool you. Rachel, Teck and CT are probably the only 3 who would drop for a smaller prize and split between teams.
