I'd say it's a legit championship win because if you look at the cast it's probably the strongest cast they've had in awhile. No one was a real layup easy out, everyone there has either won a finals or come close. If this was the main show this cast would be stronger than total madness, double agents, and spy's lie's and allies.
I think in 38 seasons plus spinoffs, whoever wins this is automatically in GOAT conversation for their gender no matter how many championships they have. Thats how they aimed to build this IMO.
yes. i know you didn't watch the final or the season, but danny would not have won if the entire cast didn't quit. danny and sarah both won by default. the final wasn't particularly hard, and if anyone else finished the final they would've beat danny/sarah
Technically Danny would have still won because he would still beat Tyson to the top of the mountain after passing him on sudoku and he already had more points than him. Sarah on the other hand needed one of the girls to quit, because she had enough points to still win the finals if she came in second but not enough if she came in third.
Yeah, Danny did great throughout that final and the checkpoints. I don't know why he's being grouped in with Sarah. Also, he looked to be an excellent partner to have so Tori or Kaycee would be lucky to get him.

They wanted this to be the biggest grand prize in challenge history pre filming not sure if that change since a lot changes happened
