The producers are actually good on this show when it comes to trying to start drama. As long as the cast is willing to play ball the season will be fine. The problem with New Orleans was that nobody wanted to play along

I'd take any season over Vegas. London Paris Cancun St Thomas Portland... whatever season Tony Raines was on...any of those theme ones...literally anything...any season other than Vegas

True, but I just despise the Vegas season.
I despise it too and the fact that they've had like a million reunions already makes their Homecoming unnecessary but I would still take it over Austin. In fact I would take any other season over Austin. Even Key West. That's how much I hate Austin.
I wouldn't mind seeing several older seasons, but I know it's hard to get an entire cast back together. I never watched Austin because old Wes just isn't my favorite. I totally dug him on AS3, though. Also, Battle of the Seasons (2012) showed me in one episode that Lacey is a really funny person, and I don’t doubt that she won't have a fun presence if they did an Austin reunion. Personally, I wouldn't mind a Key West reunion either, but only if Bananas isn't given the spotlight. I'd rather see how Paula is doing now that she's in recovery from addiction and has a loving family. She was someone I always felt for as a recovering addict and former disordered eater as well. Hollywood wouldn't be terrible for me either, as that was actually the first season I watched in real time, but I know that with Joey's death and Greg and Kimberly's reluctance, it would be a hard sell.
all in all, I just want another Homecoming season. It doesn't really matter, I'll watch regardless.
With Wes in South Africa and then Nehemiah not being able to stay away from AS4 (eying January??), that mean we are getting a different Homecoming cast to film this fall/winter?

Good god so now this is "paused"? If that's not the universe just telling them to do Miami then I don't know what is. These lame brain producers don't get it tho. They have the perfect season on their hands ready to go but they don't want to do it? No wonder their shows are dying and fans are quitting watching in droves. Deservedly so.
I already accepted that Austin is next but now it's on hold apparently? Don't really care, I won't watch. Just like I've given up on so many other shows as of late. This one can kick rocks if Austin is next.
and the house not being available isn't really an issue as we saw with New Orleans being filmed in another house.
Maybe they can film at Melissa's family's house instead since she spent more time there anyway? Lol
I feel like the house is the least important thing in a homecoming like sure it's cute if they can nab the original house/loft but if the cast is polarizing then no one cares about the miscellaneous
I think the Vegas people have personalities that are naturally more entertaining than the Austin cast. I'm not a fan of either season, but of course I expect them to go with either of them. Those were wildly popular seasons.

Los Angeles was must see TV and then New Orleans flopped badly. Hoping we get a messy season next (preferably Miami)
