Of course she'd go for the more boring option. It's like she's programmed to be dull in every aspect of her life.
Or just wanted the better player to win?
He wasn't even that great. Firstly, Monte was only riding high with the Leftovers until they blew up. Most times he wouldn't even talk game unless it was at a Leftovers meeting. He even said himself that he wasn't going to associate with the other side (Indy/Jasmine/Terrance/Alyssa) because he was so comfortable in the LOs. That's FOUR jury votes. So it's no wonder they had zero connection with him. Taylor actively fought to repair any kind of relationship with Jasmine/Indy/Alyssa and it paid off. Secondly, Monte's big moves were 1) Michael who was an obvious choice and had Taylor not convinced him there was no girls alliance, he wouldn't have even taken the shot at Michael during the double. And then his second was Turner, whom he would've won against. He took Taylor because he still perceived her as the most hated person in the house. Thirdly, his jury questions were terrible. He even answered two different questions with the same answer. Whereas Taylor perfectly articulated why she should win.
Now strategically Taylor wasn't good. She knows that, she's admitted herself. And really, she never got much of a chance to make any moves but she never made the blunders Monte ended up making and instead played the game that was available to her. It goes to show that there are other paths to win the game and she challenged people to think differently from comp wins and big flashy moves being the be all, end all way to win the show.
Monte winning makes the season a midtier season. Taylor winning elevates the ongoing storyline of the season.
I've read enough Taylor obsessed dissertations, not reading that. Monte was the better player, Taylor was the better story. Taylor only won because of production intervnetion. Both are great representation of the season though, it was a win either way.

What's the point of a reality show forum if you're too lazy to talk about your wrong opinions? Whatever then.
You're calling that an unhealthy obsession? You're a regular poster on Vevmo, you're a loser too ****
Get off your high horse, OldSchooler.
There's no issue with someone being a regular poster. My issue is with how defensive stan fans get like your on their payroll. You don't know them so the way yall worship them and attack anyone who is opposed to them is weird. If it was like a joking defense it would be one thing but you wrote an unnecessary book about her lol.

the better player wouldn't have taken someone with a good story and well spoken -- y'all giving him too much

It wasn't even an attack, I was just stating facts lol
if monte was the better player he'd have taken the person he had a chance to beat in f2
It was a bad call for sure but he was either 1) afraid of fan backlash or 2) was unaware how much production intervened to let the hg know how their treatment of her was perceived.
Taylor had zero shot to win or get anywhere close had production not intervened. Her fans bullied production into intervening so she owes them big for the $800,000. I love Taylor and I'm happy she won but it was undeserved lol just like Diicckks, Adam, and Rachel.
Monte thought he could beat Taylor it was his own fault. But I can't blame him too much he probably still thought all the girls disliked her besides Brittany along with Terrance and Kyle

yeah that jury was going to vote for taylor over anyone,
fan backlash is a real thing twitter is even worse than here when it comes to bb
someone like **** got actual rigged help. taylor deserved her win for what she went through idc

She really didn't go through that much tbh. People have endured way worse. She just went through it in the right time period lol. But she's an awesome person so good for her. Take advantage of crazed lame fans and get that 800000, Lays deal, more reality tv deals, cameos, and instagram endorsements!
There really wasn't any great strategic players to me this season. I thought Michael would be that one but he wasted his power on Jasmine and Terrance instead of Monte/Turner. He's just a beast at comps that made his resume look good

Pretty much all of it. All of the women + Joseph + Michael were very pro-Taylor BEFORE leaving the BB house. They weren't tipped off by production. That's such a lazy excuse to discredit someone. You have no proof of that at all.

The were literally warned multiple times in the DR that the way they were treating Taylor was a very bad look and was being poorly recieved. I don't even watch the feeds and I know this lol. Michael said somewhere that he picked up on that Taylor was very well-liked by the audience. You can see the clear shift from when they find this out. Big Brother has always had heavy production influence and riggery, this is just one of the few times it played into the audiences favorite. I'm a big Taylor fan but I'm not blind to admit that her win was given to her due to productions intervention and the cast being worried about their image.

well you keep harping on it like you pressed she won. Rigged or not she deserved the win. They shoulda rigged it in bb22 also to save us from that tragic *** season

Because they were doing too **** much that they were being called racist by America. And that's irrelevant anyway because everyone still treated her terribly even after the warning. So that's on them for not reading the room

that long *** post over a non worshiping Taylor opinion.
Is this gonna be what unites us?
agreeing that Big Brother fans are by in large loony? probably lol

We can share opinions but I'm not taking the time to read an essay on your unhealthy obsession with a stranger.

There's now 16 male winners to 8 women winners. They should rig it more honestly

I'd rather see Monte lose to Taylor than Turner...at least he got 75k
