I read on twitter that Terrance said that "women who stay with abusers deserve what they get" which is why the house was mad. Apparently Brittany was dating a someone who was abusing her before she found her husband so it triggered her. The houseguests tried to talk Terrance out of it, but he wouldn't back down.
