I think Monte, Joseph, and Kyle were good people caught up in the toxicity of Joe and Paloma. Or they were just self-aware enough to understand how their behavior was coming off based on getting reprimanded.
So basically what the cop told Taylor is that she shouldn't be a decent human being to her after spending so much time projecting how horrible of a person she is? Taylor really can't win with those people. I'm so glad she finds out how they really feel about her
