I liked day one. They need to learn to balance the competition out both days because day 2 is always lackluster. And aside from Mark & KA losing, once again day 1 didnt really matter.
It did in the sense that if you didn't do well on day 1 you could potentially be eliminated like those 2 were. IMO this was the best way they formatted the 2 day finals instead of doing the 30 seconds head start.
Glad they did the final this way. I hate when it is a super long distance race with only a few checkpoints and production needs to do something super screwy to make it close. Mark can't run for long distances, Brad had a couple conditioning issues in these finals where his partners and the checkpoints saved him. Truthfully if this was closer to last season's final or a traditional one it would have been Wes -> huge gap -> Nehemiah -> huge gap -> everyone else.
