Best and Worst Returns

What is the popular definition of a good or bad return? And what is considered a return? Like 4 seasons off or longer?

good return: someone who basically rejuvenate their image from their first tenure and someone who brings something to the show that was clearly missing and needed and how they do it is well executed and entertaining

bad return: someone who basically dismantle any legacy they've built for themselves and ruin the vibe with their energy

what I consider a return is someone who takes a long enough break were their presence noticeably is missed so usually not the amount of seasons missing but however long they're gone to the point when they do return they're relearning the show and cast and have find their footing again

Darrell had a good return initially but now it's really mixed. He may have damaged that legacy.

BEST: Tina > Jisela > Theresa > Teck > Ayanna > Jonna > Kailah

WORST: Nany > Ruthie > Danny > Beth > Jordan > Darrell > Kendal > MJ > Brad

going strictly off entertainment and overall what they brought

Jordan brought Nia back, had a hookup, sent Darrell into retirement & gave us Jemmye/Patreon. Nowhere near one of the worst returns.

I'll say bad because we know he usually give more and hooking up with Nia isn't impressive nor needed and Darrell sent himself into retirement by showing up in horrible shape- overall I would say not his best and definitely with the spoilers I know it definitely isn't a good return

Edit: Lemme delete this paragraph b/c I just remembered Jordan's delivering next week, lol.

Well by these definitions.

Good returns (I'm not counting All Stars because everyone is a return for the most part):

Wes for being unexpected (The Ruins), Wes for having his best performance (WOTW), Jordan for being unexpected (Dirty 30), Landon for being unexpected (The Duel 2), Veronica for being unexpected (The Ruins), Tyler ONLY for rejuvenating his image (Cutthroat)

Bad returns (not counting All Stars for the same reason I mentioned above):

Nany (WOTW) I never really forgot about her so when she showed back up it was really surprising and she continued to lose around the same time she always does, Ruthie (The Duel 2) she got outsmarted and dominated by Kim when her three previous seasons she was always one of the strongest females, Abram (Bloodlines) he just never really seemed to care to be there and wasn't near as good as he was, Laurel (WOTW2) was cool to see her dynamic with newer cast members but her early elimination really ruined a lot for her previous success, Darrell (Double Agents) I always thought Darrell was one of the best endurance guys but he got smoked.

Thats about all I can think of off the top of my head.

Bad Return: Alton from Inferno 3- BOTSeasons

Bad Return: Alton from Inferno 3- BOTSeasons

and then he made it even worse on All Stars.   Alton was always an ******* but he was good TV back in the day and one of the truly elite competitors.

Laurels WOTW2 return is kinda bad tbh. Entertaining but bad for her. Showmance with bear, losing to ninja.

Along with her team. Along with her team (didn't Kailah spearhead that). She didn't manipulate anything she just happened to be the last to vote and voted her own way. No drama no changing of the game nothing. I know you love Veronica but she was such a non factor on that season + Vendettas + FR while Trishelle was top 3 character on that season.

I don't "love Veronica".  I simply give respoct to players that have earned it over the years.   When did Kailah ever make a smart decision in her life.  Have you seen her try to pick teams or play strategically?  Veronica solved the puzzle not "the team".   Veronica has always made moves.  Kailah never had to that point.  Trying to give Kailah credit for that is illogical.

Frank, Dustin, Zach, Alton, Sarah and even Camila were without question bigger "characters" on Seasons.  That's before we even get into Nany or Easy or Marie or Sam or Ashley.  Trishelle literally had no storyline without Alton and Sarah.  Absolutely nothing.  We can add Dustin.

And how is getting rid of Leroy and protecting her number 1 (Derrick) not a game move?

Fun stat--Trishelle had less confessionals than Chet.  CHET.
