Seriously it looks like an old school season with crazy competitions and brand new eliminations. No corny movie theme to wash out the show. Y'all will pay this dust while spamming all day in the 38 thread which will be another terrible season on paper and even WORSE to watch air. But gi ahead and waste your time. I will be spending all my time in the thread of this show when it airs. Y'all can keep Allstars 3 too.

Gucci you better be in here too. This is where the chocolate is

so now on the national stage - people will get to see TJ forgetting lines and having to do voiceovers lol

These regional or national Challenge shows should be the feeder shows for the main Challenge like minor league baseball teams for the Major Leagues. If they cannot hack it on the regional/national show, then they should not be on the main Challenge show. It is the best way to increase competition without spoiling the main show.

Also, if anyone has already been on the main Challenge show, then they should not be on these regional/national shows. We should get to see them react to the twists as a group of first time players.

Why should this be a feeder to the MTV one? This one is going to be the much bigger one when it comes to demos and viewership. You can already see the budget differences in the quality of the teaser and the challenges they've shown.

Alyssa is going to be the best part of this show, going against BB and thriving

Because the main Challenge is the Major League show ... these others are minor league shows just in history alone

They didnt bother throwing sarah in against angela?

Are we going to find the new Tyree or Dunbar on this show?

i'm very excited for the whole concept of this and the tournament but we didn't see absolutely anything in that trailer ****. it was so vague they could have used stunt doubles and nobody would have noticed.

with it being a tournament and emphasis on sport themes it's going to be the opposite of an Old School season just being honest

On June 22nd they're releasing Paramount+ in the UK, idk about the other countries but I assume that's where it will be airing. (the UK one)

im still dying at everyone thinking this is somehow going to be an actual season when it's so obvious this  just an hour "final" with all the teams running around solving puzzles like usual

How are the competitiors looking in the other 3 shows like does cbs actually stand a chance?

July 6th is the premiere date. Airs directly after Big Brother. This show could've been even bigger if they aired it with Survivor. BB ratings flop in comparison. Expect Love Island ratings. More than 1 million, less than 2 million viewers. Le sigh

it's on basic cable if it can't get a million then i don't know what to say. can't wait for people to compare it to the main show

It'll also be 90 minute premiere. Idk about the rest of the episodes tho. I doubt it.

500k prize for winners. I didn't know initially if they won money until the winners tournament. Hm interesting noted. Not MTV getting the bigger prize fund

Maybe this will be the new Challenge.

Maybe this will be the new Challenge.

Wishful thinking but MTV thinks last season was a success!

"MTV’s The Challenge: Spies, Lies and Allies finished the fourth quarter of 2021 as the No. 1 unscripted cable series in persons 18-34."

Whoops these titles are confusing. Meant to post this in The Challenge USA thread. We know nothing about the other country's seasons get this one is strictly about CBS version airing in July.

I have no regrets. Y'all were sharing this info in the spoiler thread leaving the poor 2 or 3 non spoiler readers out of the loop. Shame on you

They won't be spoiled on here so we'll probably have to wait until official press release from their respective channels

Challenge USA is going to do AMAZING in ratings watch

that big brother audience is no joke and i bet most people will watch it bc of how many people from last season are on

So, second season, Or nah aka renewal?

no offense but shutup, there are spoiler threads for a reason. The word "spoiler" isnt just sprinkled there for decoration.

Julie Pizzi, the executive producer of The Challenge, did Challenge Mania and talked about this a little bit:

  • She said each version will air in their country first and then be put on Paramount+
  • Each version will have their own host (so TJ is only hosting USA and the global championship)
  • None of the players on any version will have been on The Challenge (so no UK players on the UK version)
  • They are leaning onto the broadcaster in each country with casting for other regions (asking them who is popular in each country's programming)
