Julie confirmed on her Instagram that Miami is "on it's way"
Wow so, Julie and Dan from Miami are doing a podcast recapping Real World New Orleans Homecoming (Julie posted the link on Instagram). Which is interesting because a few months back Amaya claimed that she was going to start doing a podcast with Dan.
Dan confirms that all 7 of the roommates for Miami would be willing to do a Homecoming and that they weren't asked officially in the past year or so that Bunim-Murray has been producing Homecoming. He said they booked the first three seasons of Homecoming without ever asking the Miami cast. He said that more recently there have been general talks with Bunim-Murray but no official plans to do it.

Idk why Austin receives so much praise tbh. Seems like most ppl who praise it didn't watch it while it was airing cuz it was nothing special. San Diego was better from the more modern seasons of that time
It's wild to me that there's only 1 season in between SD and Austin. They just seem sooo far apart to me. SD would be a great Homecoming if Robin could get clean and show up.
San Diego felt like a transitional season cause it was in the era of mediocre seasons and the ratings weren't that good
Maybe miamis problem is getting the house? I know it seems like money is no bar on these homecomings but that house has to be one of the most expensive of them all. I guess they just need to lease it for a month but even so it might have just made more sense to film in New Orleans.

infact just searching online it was bought for $18M last year by a billionaire. So there's no chance they are getting it. Anything water front is exhautionate this day and age. Maybe put them up in a cool little place in wynwood lol

A Miami Homecoming would complete me. It would totally make Paramount Plus worth me paying for. Miami is the first reality show I ever watched in my life and I've been hooked ever since. That cast holds a special place in my heart. I have to see it to believe it but I will be floored if Miami starts filming.

I've been seeing the hype as well. I'm just surprised they were overlooked. I know Seattle and Hawaii were contacted but Miami wasn't even considered? So strange. New Orleans actually makes sense because Jon Murray has some sort of weird obsession with that city. In the past I saw how much he said he loved it and the cast and thought they were one of the best ever (clearly they aren't) but it's his fave so we got it.

Fingers crossed for Miami. I'll believe it when I see it. I don't want to get my hopes up only to be disappointed if it doesn't happen. Miami will be the one I'm looking forward to the most. After that I'd want Hawaii but we aren't getting it. Crazy how close we were to getting that season.

I'm another one who never understood the hype Austin got. It was a horrible *** season and barley anything happened honestly.

I think that season was the first season of a complete new era and even the editing felt different and forced
Miami is the logical choice definitely if they can get everybody but I hate that they would be out of order chronologically lmaoo
Austin was a terrible season. Danny getting punched and then his mom dying. Could have been a 2 episode season.
