As a new an recent watcher who has never lived the "only MTV" era of The Challenge....
I can't understand how you look at S37 and say "oh, the rookies where the problem". I can understand it's off-putting to have people for Survivor Spain and Love Island Belgium, but neither Logan, Renan, Berna, Bettina or Tracy were the problem. They were far from being the worst part that happend to the season.
Some of them were good competitors, other were big characters, others had secondary storylines that made the show interesting and some of them where there perfectly cause they need somebody to go home first and let the stars advance in the game.
I think the problem is more in how they threat those rookies. There are thrown in and out and forgotten from one season to another, they edit their storylines.... all in favor of, for me, the biggest problem of the show, the vet casting.
Having people like Liv or Ed as alternates, not having previous season winners AmberB, having the same vets from season to season.... theres a total disconnect betweent production and the public and thats whats killing the show. It reminds me to the dark era of Survivor...
If done correctly, some of the "random rookies" of pasts seasons could have been made stars and Challenge staples if they started lookng past Nany, Tori, Kaycee and Josh.
i wasnt posting here but did vevmo have this many people mad about the show during like WOTW1/2? this seems more than usual the last 2 seasons
why does production not listen to fans?
why would a production staff listen to Vevmo?? this site consists of literally just you, OldSchooler, KVM arguing every day and maybe 10 more semi consistent posters.
that's not gonna be anybody's demo test group ****
Many fandoms are built on the audience in particular so its not even uncommon
I agree. Bravo listens to their fans almost always a lot of the times they even base their decisions on who to keep there based on what the fans say mtv should seriously take notes. Bravo's ratings aren't like they were maybe 10 years ago HOWEVER most of their shows stay in the millions or a little below that...this should've been mtv but for some reason they wanna destroy their network
that's not how tv ratings work, the rating is the demo number. the view count is not at all relevant because you could have a bunch of empty non engaged numbers on the count. episode 1 of the worst challenge season ever was still a higher rated program than The Real Housewives of Beverley Hills in spite of their "view count" being half. with its finale having .40 in the demo making it the highest rated non sports event that day.
I just want people to rag on the right number because there isn't a single marketing exec looking at that inflated number on the far right of show buzz daily lol
I really think they need to add a couple of people from All Stars and CBS Challenge. BB23/LI make the most sense from CBS. I'd like to see Jonna on this.

agreed. Bring in a few all stars and some people that did well on cbs challenge. Then maybe bring one or two people from survivor 42 or BBCAN and bring in some vets that haven't been on in a couple seasons.

They won't, Jonna will never be on the main show again

Please add Darrell and Jonna to the main. Many of us will stop *****ing then probablhy

Very true. We never get the chance to have a sense of any rookies, and the vets of the past few seasons have been terrible. Especially in my opinion the played out ones from Big Brother
The main problem with S37 was that most of the rookies were useless and the veterans refused to play a cutthroat game against each other because they're all buddies. So we watched them exploit the format for weeks to purge rookies and then when the format switched to teams, they could easily continue to do it. And for what? To hand CT another half million. The vets are boring cowards.
There were S37 rookies who have multi-season potential: Michaela, Priscilla, Gabo, Kelz, Michele, Ed, **** even Berna all showed they could play and were fairly entertaining and rootable. But they all were threats and we got stuck with Emy and Emanuel in the end.
The vets know that the Eastern Europeans are poor as shit and will do their bidding as long as they get their episode's stipend. Production also thinks Fessy, Josh, and KC are franchise carriers, which is absolutely hilarious.
Now we got the CBS spinoff which is p'ssing off all the CBS talent with their incompetence and robbing the show of genuinely good reality tv show stars from Survivor.
So we've got unlikable veterans, forgettable rookies, awful formats, and predictable gameplay. It sucks. It's the worst it's been since Bloodlines.
They can go ahead & just unban everybody while they're at it and stop pretending like they or anybody else truly give a **** about what people said on Twitter in 2010.

I agree with this, and if we gonna cast racist, cast folks that'll get on they level and **** some shit up if need be, let's make a lit show.

happy may
excited to see departure in a few weeks. #TeamMelissa
I just can't believe they're casting randoms from random countries again.. awful work from production.
Nam Vo being on this season will be my 13tg reason

cant wait for tucker carlson to debut on s39 and bring inthe ratings
Didnt we already got someone from America Got Talent? So it wouldnt be something entirely new.
They won't, Jonna will never be on the main show again
So which international Survivor player do ya'll think is coming next? I doubt we're getting someone from Australia
Survivor Turkey or Romania, they've got gold potential in Survivor AU, but that'll be wasted
Please add Darrell and Jonna to the main. Many of us will stop *****ing then probablhy
I would love to get Nina twine from Australian BvW even though she's technically American

I think they shouldn't even edit episodes anymore. Just give us hour by hour episodes for like a year or two and see how that works out.
Jason Momoa who plays Aquaman his stunt double got a call to be on this season.
Lol imagine they put paulie on cara on all stars 4 instead of this.
Mods ban him for putting this in the universe.

I agree...also think they shouldn't have been able to switch partners... it made this season feel like Double Agents 2.
also I don't want them to edit episodes anymore. Just show several raw hours of footage like bb live feeds
that would just be them sitting around eating chips and ******* all day. so many people have told us they literally do nothing for 70% of the time
you don't wanna see them eat chips and ***?

I only wanted them to unban Nia, but since she was likely never banned....eh....Camila and Dee never interested me.
I wasn't including that first piece of shit lol all the rest can come back... might as well at this point.
I agree with this, and if we gonna cast racist, cast folks that'll get on they level and **** some shit up if need be, let's make a lit show.
if they cast Dee then they need to cast Justin Blu to preach to her....they probably wouldn't even show it tho...
