Y'all aint ever chilled with drunk old people? Yalls circle is boring. I do agree with you though about David he should have left her at the club. There was no reason to try and physically remove her. She's a grown adult and if production wanted her home that was their responsibility.
Nah my circle is grown & can handle their liquor and I'm only 30. That drunken mess shit was over once we hit at least 25.
Julie was a riot this episode lmao but the preview for next week looks potentially messy for her and not in a good way. Keep it together sis
Was Jamie this much of a background character on the original season? I still haven’t watched it. Idk how he ever got cast lol
He was. A lot of them are still the same, background characters. Which is why I always thought this season was boring in its original run. But people on here claiming it's the best season ever and I'm over here looking at them all side eyed.
Jamie isn't even the most background and every season has multiple background characters. Not sure why you guys are so shocked about that all the sudden.
True an argument can be made that Kelley and Matt are more background than Jamie. That's a whopping 3. Most RW seasons usually have one background character who doesn't contribute (but 3? Yikes!) much NY had none, LA maybe Beth A?, SF Mohammad, London Jay, Miami Mike, Boston none, Seattle Rebecca, Hawaii maybe Matt but at least he tried, B2NY Rachel, Chicago Keri, Las Vegas none, Paris Simon, San Diego Charlie, Philly Melanie. That's as far as I'll go since the seasons after I really wasn't as invested.
I don't think Kelley was that much of a background character, but then again, you have to realize that New Orleans was entirely the Melissa and Julie show, with Danny as a supporting character.
Kelley had conflict with Melissa, Jamie, and David throughout the season, found a man in New Orleans and got into a relationship, was super close with Danny. If you watch the "shit the should have shown" or whatever the unseen footage special was- Kelley was actually hilarious. I think she was edited out.
I do think that New Orleans Homecoming is reaching an entirely new audience and has a new age demographic interested compared to New York and LA. It was almost 10 years later, it was when Real World was truly in its prime and in my opinion, the last "TRUE" real world season before the cast started realizing just how popular they could become by being on the show.
Last thing I'll say- I have no idea how the **** Matt was cast.
Julie is a hot ******* mess and i agree with what a few said before - she definitely has been through some shit that has her acting this unhinged, im personally very interested to hear her talk about leaving the mormon church and how that affected her life. Her in the drag bar was equal parts cringey and equal parts entertaining. Love her or hate her Julie is a great reality tv character
Melissa is definitely carrying the show so far IMO along with Tokyo. Matt still seems like he is a "pray the gay away" guy. Danny and Kelley are still both so mehhh to me. Jamie seems like he'd be such a fun guy to have a beer with and seems like he is probably such a cool dad
I don't think Kelley is a "background character". I think she had reservations doing this to begin with, and that's why she's not involved in anything with the group. She came there for 2 reasons and 2 reasons only: Danny & the paycheck. She's a smart businesswoman & she's married to an actor. I get it, but girl, have fun with your roomies!
Kelley sucks to reserved for me to enjoy on a reality show. I actually like Melissa this episode she is funny and charismatic. Julie is a hotmess & Tokyo I like so far.
I can't stand tokyo, I dont know what it is about him but hes getting way too much airtime, i zoned out when they randomily cut to him at his house in chicago talking about some mumbo jumbo writing style he likes. and no i didn't like them randomily cutting to clips of his youtube videos for literally no reason.

Kelley wasn't reserved on her original season & on battle of the seasons
On the 5 episodes I saw of the original season two weeks ago and she was boring *** **** there too
Kelley had this reputation of being easy, to which she denied heavily. It led to a funny moment on Battle of the Seasons where they were doing a Newlywed Game style competition with their partners. One of the questions was "If your female partner could count the number of sexual partners they've ever had using their hands, would it take 5 fingers or less, two hands, or there aren't enough hands to count?" This is what unfolded:
Holly: "A."
Tara: "Five fingers or less."
Emily: "My answer's the same, five fingers or less."

Right--and "the thing" now is that she's built a new life and reputation so she's going to chill out, do nothing even remotely controversial and then go home never speaking to any of these people other than Danny ever again.
no he looked amazing 22 years ago. He's completely lost it for me now. I don't even think if he lost the weight he could pull it back.
Give the people what they want. We need Julie on AS4

Jamie going "YES KWEEN" made my day

Yeah, I don't love David either. He's just strange and dull to me.
I forgot about the singing clips of David's YT vids. I tried to block that in my memory.
Actual rankings now that I rethink what I watched yesterday:
1. Julie
2. Melissa
3. Danny
4. Kelley
5. Jamie
6. David
7. Matt
How is Kelley #4? She ain't do nothing so far. I really can't stand her boring lame white ***.
Kelley should have been a guest and Paul should have been the 7th roommate.
I doubt she even cared about the paycheck lol

Tbh five episodes wasn't enough to formulate an honest opinion though
Please get Julie on every All Stars season they ever film.
Kelley and Matt still being irrelevant just like they were 22 years ago...
