Why is Kelley acting very guarded? The rest of them are delivering. I'm enjoying this homecoming. I can't wait to see future seasons of this being renewed

Because she didn't even want to be there. It's been said she only did it because Danny needed the money. She's not there to participate in anything. I mean I don't think any of the castmembers were allowed to sit out the Incoming Message other than Eric on NY and that was because he was isolated in a hotel with full blown Covid. I can't respect Kelly tho, I wish the holdouts for other seasons would take her lead. Just take the check and don't even bother to participate. Miami Melissa I'm talking to you.
Y'all aint ever chilled with drunk old people? Yalls circle is boring. I do agree with you though about David he should have left her at the club. There was no reason to try and physically remove her. She's a grown adult and if production wanted her home that was their responsibility.

Nah my circle is grown & can handle their liquor and I'm only 30. That drunken mess shit was over once we hit at least 25.

You will defend Julie no matter how awful she is lol

Because she didn't want to do this and has an image she's protecting.

He will but old people still get messy drunk and do stupid things. Ever been to.a work Xmas party or happy hour. The 20 somethings are never the problem

You don't know if production asked him to help get her out of there. They don't want to step in because they are getting footage.
problem with this season compared to first 2 is that I could see this "reunion" being settled in like a 2 hour reunion special not needing 2 weeks. Like basically the Melissa/Julie talk is over. It's clear they aren't going to fight the rest of the season in a big way.
Whereas NY and Hollywood you could tell people were getting more under each others skin the longer it went on.
Well, I think NY had the best first episode by far. I believe it was nominated for an Emmy and it deserved that. The way they put it together, especially the editing and cuts between 92 them and now, was just brilliant. And as someone who grew up seeing the reruns, I got emotional watching it - from the moment OG Julie started getting teary as she was about to go back. It felt like a real reunion. It lost some points episodes later with too much emphasis on Becky, but amazing start.
Season 2's second episode was when we saw things get lit up like a bonfire and it kept building. It will be hard to top that.
This cast doesn't seem as into it as the first two. Sad because outside of David/Tokyo, they meshed so well back in the day.
I just hope Julie doesn't get cancelled by the end of this we need her on all stars 4 lol
So maybe there's an All Stars 4?
As of now it's happening but it's unknown if it's happening towards the end of this year or the beginning of the next one. Production enjoyed season 3 cast & content.

agreed with all of this. everyone is there for the 200K nothing else.
they probably should have told julie to wait a few days before trying to apologize and get hugs from everyone ON DAY 1
Of course boring *** Kelley and Matt stay at the house
Matt's not going to a gay bar/drag queen event. Kelley also is focused on her rep so that's not surprising--she at least played it off better than Matt did though. And, after watching Julie at the bar, I'm guessing there's no regrets lol

I guess some of my friends haven't hit that level of maturity yet and I'm cool with that lol.

Nah, I don't even like her like that. I like her as a mess/good tv. I just don't think she's done anything wrong up to this point. I think Melissa is lame for still holding on to 22 year old drama. She was a sloppy drunk, so what. If she acts like David intentionally hurt her, then she's lame for that...even though there was zero reason to grab her and drag her out.
I don't even think Melissa is holding on to what happened. She's made peace with it but is keeping her distance & that's fine. You know when you just don't/won't mesh well with a person; you can definitely be cordial but friends? Nah.
Look at the two of them in general. Melissa is lil old Blasian lady that has to have her tea & her morning routine to get her day started properly....Julie out here getting lit & faceplanting. They're not even in the same life space to be "friends" like that.

I don't think this is the "everyday" version of Julie though. I think this is like when a group of friends in their 40s take a long weekend trip without the kids and everyone is drunk 24-7 staying up until 3 am while talking about the "good ole days". That's what Julie thought this would be.

Which is understandable but there's a difference with that & what Julie was out there on lol Julie out here turnt like ready to do some wet T-shirt contests at 40+.... faceplanting out of vans, racial profiling, cheating on her husband on a whim (which it seems like nobody is talking about unless that wasn't her & I saw that wrong). Julie is a hot *** mess but it's definitely entertaining.

They did mesh though...they were great friends on the show and after. Julie was young, greedy, ill advised, naive and she screwed up. Her apology to Melissa was sincere. Melissa wants to validate her hate for Julie and is waiting for any little thing to prove Julie is the awful person she has built in her head. Even though I disagree with Melissa on that, I still love her. She's funny and great tv regardless. And unfortunately I agree with KVM, I don't think Julie is a drunken mess in real life. I have several friends with kids who are professional, mature, and responsible 360 days out of the year. But the couple weekends we get away without kids, they like to have a GOOD time and get belligerent. They earned it in my opinion. All they had to do was let Julie live and have fun lol.

It was her husband in the hot tub. I agree she's a mess but I think this is just a 2 week thing
Just because Amaya was Jewish...she's still white. Was she practicing Judiasm? Was that part of her storyline? And I didn't know Colin wqs half latino but even if that's true I think by all accounts he is looked at as the All-American white boy.
Amaya being Jewish came up on Challenge 2000 when they were supposed to eat pork and she refused due to her religion

That's awesome that we had representation of different faiths and backgrounds. That doesn't change that Amaya is white lol.

I'm talking about present day & I don't even get the vibe that Melissa HATES Julie like that & it's really no beef...she just don't **** with her. They can be cordial with no problems but the friendship door is closed & it is what it is.
I think you want them have this happy reality TV ending but it's not in the cards for it & that's how life goes sometimes. I don't get the vibe that Melissa is really raging mad about what happened but simply set the boundaries.

Melissa was cordial but also cold. It's her prerogative though. I let things go to a fault. Just cause I disagree with Melissa doesn't mean I hate her. She's still amazing. I can "stan" someone and disagree with them. Not saying she's wrong either. Just my thoughts. But yes, I wanted both the fireworks from J&M with a beautiful resolution midway through. I loved their friendship 20 years ago and wish they would have left best friends again. Clearly they no not though lol.

Tokyo shouldn't have hurt Julie like that. If she really is bruised then he went way too far

Random thoughts:
- I loved the way Melissa asked Tokyo to make her bacon and eggs. "Like is there a bacon and eggs in my future made by you?"
- Anyone else realize Danny is a huge manspreader? Dude's legs are like always wide open.
- I don't know why but I've always loved Julie's teeth.
- Jamie seems like someone who I'd love to hang out with. Just chill at a bar and shoot the shit.
I guess some of my friends haven't hit that level of maturity yet and I'm cool with that lol.
who knew growth on a show was making bacon and eggs

The slo mo shots of Julie screaming at the bar were funny af
It's the Julie & Melissa show. Jamie is SO FINE btw. Am I the only one that thinks he's hotter now than he was 22 years ago? Lol

Season 1 was the Julie & Heather B show. Season 2 was the Tami & David show. Two people have carried each season.
