I've been back and forth on Veronica but she really is an icon. She was such a major part of the show for so long. She founded this show basically. Here she is over 20 years later still delivering. I wish Coral was here with her though.
Used to be a Veronica Stan. I still like her but the last few times she came on a challenge, she was trying her old school strategy and hoping a social game would take her to the end. If Beth's 52 year old *** can workout and compete, so can Veronica.

That said, I'd probably be a Veronica if I was in the show. A wine guzzling lazy player except I know my social game will carry.

Veronica is NOT for everybody lol, I've rolled my eyes at her more than a couple of times. But she had a LOT more going on in dirty XXX in addition to the Leroy vote. People forget Aneesa-gate and the Rachel bombshell, plus her getting sent into elimination, winning against Aneesa, then winning the puzzle and voting out CT. She was the lead confessional getter for those episodes. She had several storylines that ran perfectly together. They also gave her a mini-storyline about her being an underdog and slowly adapting and excelling both socially and physically. She was more relevant than 80% of the cast IMO. But Vendettas & FR I agree she gave nothing
Oh, I agree that she brought more to XXX. I just choose to forget that season, I think the redemption house being done multiple times killed it for me because that endgame was rushed with a few of the "send people to the redemption house without seeing the elimination round" first and I hate that they choose to incorporate that so late in the game. I understand if you wanna trim numbers early on but Veronica was close to the finals and I was rooting for her so them just sending her to redemption like that was annoying.
Now keep in mind, V has always been a main character in almost every challenge she's done so seeing her in Vendettas & FR was like meh, she just ain't doing it like she used to. But I do love her game now where she drinks wine and doesn't workout, I'd be 100% the same except I'd be way more proactive socially & strategically

LOL, I actually just thought they were very good friends XD, but I was young and naive. I didn't "get" that they were a thing until around the Island when Rachel came back. That's actually when I found this board and started lurking, the Island cast spoilers from Molds13

Exactly--people will say Jordan, Wes and Kailah bring in views and that's definitely true but Veronica's a true legend of the show. She's the reason it was successful.
Veronica is such a mean girl goddess. She's never claimed to be nice since she was cast on SAS. Her role was the "B". And she delivered. Funny how On Sexes in her rivalry with Emily she was supposed to be the good one.
Ppl go a little overboard giving Veronica credit for 'creating the challenge as we know it today' when really all she did was be a mean spirited ***** who just happened to be at the right place at the right time (a.k.a. at the conception of the show) by chance due to it originating during the time period she happened to be young in. Any other bitter, klepto wench from back then would've been given the same credit had they been on the show in her place instead.
If anything Emily and Chadwick/Holly were the originators of a cutthroat game, and even then, they just happened to be there when the game introduced more strategic gameplay with the voting off.
