So the episode is out now? I'll give it a try. Funny how last season I was staying up till 1 am to watch the new episodes of LA while this season in just meh about it.
i watched the Julie / Melissa / Danny argument from the first episode
- Melissa is petty. End of story. She kept trying to compare what Julie did to her to what Julie did to Danny.
- I can quite honestly tell Julie didn't send an email to any college about Melissa
- Julie doesn't owe Melissa ***
Julie at the least owes Melissa an apology. I don't think she is being petty. Melissa was her friend and was hurt by what she did. Julie is clearly struggling with even taking responsibility for it.
Here's a link to the post Melissa wrote about Julie in 2003, while Battle of the Sexes was airing. It explains Melissa's side of the conflict more fully. She also says in the post that Danny suffered the most from Julie's behavior, so...I think Melissa understands that the two situations are not the same, but definitely exhibit a pattern of behavior on Julie's part.
- Julie is a mess & without her this homecoming would have been bland. It does hurry me that on the trailer most of the drama she is wearing the same shirt, hopefully it doesn't get stretch too much.
- I didn't found Jamie attractive when I watched a few episodes last week of their OG season. But looking at him as an older man and in motion he actually looks attractive finally got the hype.
- What Julie did to Danny was mess up & I don't think this show is going to be a good look for her.
- I actually enjoyed Tokyo this episode , he has matured a lot.
- First episode was good better than the first season Imo
I never got around to watching the original season y'all, I have the attention span of a goldfish.... do you think it's needed to watch episode 1? I know LA pretty much covered the most important parts of the original season during the flashbacks/incoming messages, so I'm hoping same could be said for this season

Gold! Pure TV Gold! I was hooked from the opening. I loved them doing side by sides. I wish they would have waited a while till the messages came up. Let people fill us in on the last 20 years. Show us their families, houses and careers. Let them chat more. Day 2 you can start stirring the pot. I hope they keep doing these. Nothing else like it on TV.
It was an alright premiere. Something is way off with Julie, her being so naive and surprised to all of this makes no sense whatsoever and it was incredibly cringe to watch.

Julie is such good tv, but the same trash she has always been. Loved David this episode.
Melissa was not being petty....she set a boundary and is sticking to it.

I watched during lunch, stopped right as Julie walked in. They had no questions about David changing his name and the 24/7 headband? Cause I would.
They did ask him about his name, also it's not legally changed yet.
