Josh needs a break for carrying the entertainment aspect of the show.

So, that explains why the show is no longer entertaining

Since I don't watch Survivor. Can anyone tell me more about this Desi girl?

What season was she on?  I've watched every single season of Survivor since day 1 and I have no clue who she is.

girl bye

the storyline this season of the BB side imploding while Survivor dominates is going to be VERY popular with casuals

i can't imagine a bunch of people even watch this, if it airs on CBS i imagine it being one of their lowest rated reality tv competition shows

It will probably fare better than SLA.

Isn't that obvious though this is on cbs. No show on cbs should should have lower ratings than mtv that would be horrible.

it depends how it's promoted. I guarantee it'll do better than Beyond The Edge and could potentially do better ratings than Tough as Nails bc of all the former cast people on this.  i think it'll do surprisingly well but if BB had done better i think it might have done better ratings

id be pretty surprised if it doesnt get a S2 but hopefully they re-new all stars 4 first

I think the ratings should probably perform somewhere between Tough as Nails 3 and Survivor 42. Tough as Nails average around 2.8 million viewers and Survivor averages arouhnd 5.1 million viewers. So 3.5 million or so I expect(It could overperform though and surpass 4 million if the concept resonates with CBS casual viewers). That's puts it right in the ballpark of Big Brother avg viewership of around 4 million. For context, Challenge 37 was only averaging around 600k an episode over the season.

I'd go 3.1 million at best imo which isn't that bad. The key is going to be if it keeps the audience the whole season which I think they will be able to since the challenge format works as long as the contestants are people we care about. i'd be surprised if this flops

season 31 of the amazing race had a similar concept, with a reality TV matchup of players from survivor, big brother, and former TAR racers. The season premiere had over 5.5 million viewers and the season averaged 4.5 million viewers. So I doubt this will flop as well.

This just made me realize that Leo is the only person to compete on BOTH of these Reality Showdown seasons!

the difference is casting and format- amazing race was smart with bringing in fan faves like janelle and britney, as well as other fairly likeable people and some villains, with a format that casual viewers are used to and enjoy. this cast doesn't have that impact and the challenge format may be foreign to someone who doesn't stray over to mtv. with who was cast and who's left, i don't see riveting tv being produced.

1+1= 2 it's airing on a channel everyone has lmao

If this get 2 millions is consider failing just like love island and the celebrity show with the same concept as stranded with a million dollars. Which I can see this getting especially after the premiere.

Amazing Race has been on for 33 seasons and has a loyal fanbase though, you can't really compare them

maybe so, but I can tell you this was the only season of the amazing race that I ever watched and it was because survivor and big brother players were on. I can't imagine I was the only one.

Filming is suppose to end the 27th right?

She had a under radar edit; barely shown. But season HvHvH

Especially because it's the Cookout that flopped. Those casuals are gonna lovvvve to see them lose and love seeing Sarah, Ben, Tyson, Dom, Enzo make it far.

omg did they speed up the schedule?

also are we assuming they're at the final?

bb23 sucked

Someone on reddit said that a producer posted a story saying "Last few days here"....so we're definitely approaching the end now.
