Wow she was so real and honest about her experience. I have a new respect for Jo. She made a lot of sense of her exit. It sucks they wouldn't pay her, I get she quit but she gave them one of the most iconic scenes in the shows history. If they were going to freely exploit her mental struggles that could have at least paid her for it. I could never work in production, they just seem so callus and cruel.
I'm glad Jo still has overall positive feelings about her participation on reality tv. It seems like most real worlders from the first 5-6 seasons truly enjoyed their time on the show and understand the impact it had on pop culture and were glad to be part of it. They were once highly famous among the youth of America, similar to how famous the idiots from Jersey shore were in the 2000s except these people had a lot more depth

The gauntlet 2 had issues with casting. I remember Rachel did a college engagement where she even said they were literally asking everyone to do the Gauntlet 2 and so many were saying no.

I think it's possible that had she not made RW she would have been on Road Rules. But then her casting story didn't make sense about the producers going to her restaurant looking for a Real World roommate and finding her. She made it seem like they were specifically casting for Puck's replacement only.
