Pretty nobel of laurel to stop going on the challenge to continue her quest of becoming a vet. Because im pretty sure her appearance fees were a pretty coin and she always has a great chance of making it to a final.
My friend who works behind the scenes said that someone from "Undercover Boss: Venezuela" has been contacted. Also was told a few stunt men and women who are known for performing stunts in Marvel movies have also been contacted for the show as well. No specific names yet but I will provide some names when I get more information.
She's about to make that veterinarian salary, this is charity work for her.
Their median salary is just around 100k it's less than I thought it would be honestly.
She will be a veterinarian 10 years from now, when, and hopefully this show is over.. Half these people will still be on only fans, or trying to be reality stars while she has a real job.
- LA: It's for the "documentary"/Special sounds like it's either for MTV.com or Paramount + as of now. They are interviewing different cast members in the next two weeks. Some people declined over pay.
- NY: People there are those that got contacted and accepted to do the IG/Social media promo for All Stars 3. Paying the same as the "documentary"/Special (Tina, Jonna, Sylvia, Derrick, Nehemiah,Syrus).
- Workouts: MTV media have been contacting different cast members for this so it's probably just for IG or those little workout things they did with different challengers before double agents premiere .
- Ex on the beach 5- The one Davonne did it's premiering Thursday March 31st.
- All Stars 3- Premiering May 11.
- CBS Challenge: Filming really soon.
- The Challenge Book: Going on sale on November?
- Challenge 38: Having zoom interviews with rookies from all over the world + CBS and gave out availability calls to the vets a few weeks ago. They don't leave until May so nothing will be concrete until late April or early May when final calls go out if departure day don't change.
- Challenge UK- TBA
- Challenge Australia- TBA
- Challenge Argentina- TBA
- Real World Homecoming (Season 4)- Not sure when season 3 (Real World: New Orleans homecoming) is airing, but they were contacting different seasons for 4 then it got put on hold. The seasons contacted mostly had everyone or just missing one person each were: Miami, Las Vegas 1, Key West & Austin.
Netflix good originals? Am I the only person that thinks Netflix sucks? I try watching their shows and feel dumber after I do it. The shows are pathetic.
some are great! The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is hilarious and one of my favs lol

why do they keep trying to find people no one has ever heard of...weren't ratings for SL&A horrible? Shouldn't they take a hint and change how they do casting. Heck I hate the randoms from Big Brother and Amazing Race but they seemed to make you all happy and people seem to know who they are...at least do that. Ugh so stupid

They weren't horrible it was down from the previous two seasons? Yeah. But compared to their other shows they did good
I think that's the problem. People here looking at the ratings and compare it to the previous seasons when that's irrelevant to what they're looking at. See the rest of MTV. They believe what they're doing is working.
*oldschooler, wolf & i look at each other and then cackle together*
I gotta exit the clique for a while I'm on probation lololol. Apparently joking about a Raquel interview really triggers people. I don't have the Peacekeeper22 charm to spam love for a random castmember lol.

Comparing it to a season that aired a couple of months earlier isn't unreasonable. The reaction across the board wasn't positive either. It was an awful product. If it was a smash it wouldn' have been pushed back so much. A year in between filming isn't normal. There's a reason Bravo still thrives on cable. Their content is new, fresh, promoted well, they listen to viewer feedback, and they understand drama sells. They don't edit that down, they thrive off it.

true - even the worst season of the challenge is better than the other crap they have playing. But you would think they would still look at the ratings, see where they can improve and just common sense would show them that they could potentially get more viewers by getting more familiar people - yes my version of that is old school, but I'll live in All Stars happy land for now - but using people from recent seasons of Big Brother, Amazing Race, etc makes a heck of a lot more sense than random male and random female form random show no one has access to even watching.
I just hope they start casting more fun personalites again and less social media hungry bad actors.

Since when do we care about what others think to that extent? Get over it, you're not leaving the holy trinity.

It is unreasonable as crazy as that sounds in a few months alll shows could have drastically gone down. They have to compare it to what has happened to the network as a whole.

Laurel has worked hard. If she did more shows she would have won more than once.
She will be a veterinarian 10 years from now, when, and hopefully this show is over.. Half these people will still be on only fans, or trying to be reality stars while she has a real job.
what is this documentary about- are they talking about 24 years of The Challenge existing just to bring Nelson & Cory to recap lmao

So does this mean All-Stars 3 is going to be the last all-star season??
