oh

Put me on the Real World Vevmo, I promise y’all ain’t ready for me

Right, make it make sense. Maybe the aftermath is not as pretty as we think? Who knows.

The aftermath is definitely not as pretty as we think. The experience of being on The Real World was downright traumatizing for some. I remember The Real World Reunion 2000 Kaia, Melissa Padron and Joe saying how much they hated their experience and Joe talking about how terrible the aftermath was, funny because Melissa made a confessional about Joe saying it's not that serious. Fast forward and here we are with Melissa as the lone hold out for Miami. I wish I could remember her exact quote but she told Kaia that after the show you go thru stages it went something like "the first year your traumatized, the second you go thru therapy and the third you get over it and move on". The Reunion 2000 focused more on the castmembers having negative experiences after the show. I get it, when I was young I used to think it would be so cool to have my life taped for a reality show. Now? Not so much. People change and if they didn't like it & it caused trauma in their 20's why would they want to revisit it now in their 40's?

Which RW personality do we think each Vevmo person is?

Imagine if we were ever on tv together? LOL, we were trainwrecks back in the day when we used to play online games. I can't think why that would change now in a pressure cooker situation like the Real World.

Is Melissa really the only person holding off a Miami homecoming? Probably because of the threesome & the argument with Dan, especially that argument with Dan. That would cause so much drama coming from the LGBTQ+ community, they'd eat her up day in & day out.

Any updates on this? Someone on Reddit brought up the fact that Paramount announced their upcoming titles for February and Homecoming was not on there, so this is obviously not premiering in February.

Do we think it will premiere in March or April? Later?

Has anyone heard anything?

Ugh I want it NOW! I hope we get a trailer and announcement this week or next with a very early March premiere!

real world vevmo would be tame - a lot of key board warriors on here who act tough hiding behind their usernames lol

Not me. I'm crazy like Tami I will pop a ***** the way Tami popped Meekah Claxton.

Just FYI- filming crew at the original New Orleans home (Belfort) today. Not sure if it's Homecoming related. Going to swing back by and see if I catch a glimpse.

that moment was pretty iconic for reality television historians

No idea why it's sideways but snapped a pic- nothing exciting though. I was honesly wondering if they had someone come back to film an interview or something possibly because it seems the cast had drama and someone had to come back individually...just guessing. There was a much larger production crew the last week of filming. The signs blocking the road just said "PRODUCTION"- no information.  I've also heard Owen Wilson and Danny Devito are filming something for Disney in the Garden District uptown.  Who knows.  just thought I'd share.

Ugh I want it now lol!

The Real World Homecoming Instagram page is finally promoting this. It says it's coming soon but no date yet. Excited!

Whoops I misread that cuz I was excited! They are putting up the original season in April, but still no specific date for the Homecoming.

I'm so excited for this! I loved every single cast member. Hoping Miami is next!

The guys were just chilling and getting high. Filming was ended early because a lot of them just took naps and were chilling.

Obviously there was some drama here and there but it wa a mostly 3 people involved in it. Editing this into 8 episodes or whatever has been tough for production since they have to stretch situations to have enough content for a reality show.

Didn't you say at one point they ended early because they had more than enough content lol? Let me guess it was Julie, Melissa, and David involved in the drama.

Danny not David the David guy sounds like he was one of the ones that was chilling.

I wrote that back in the day when they ended early it was over having enough footage. It looks like editors are having to stretch stuff.

David and Jamie were almost definitely just high the whole time.

Who is Danny fighting with lol? He just wanted airtime lol.

Tbh- I wouldn't be shock if Julie is the one bringing chaos those 2 the ones giving her energy back lol

Pink, was Kelley just there? Like did she provide any drama?

Lol Danny posted on his Instastory that he can't publicly announce when Homecoming premieres but that we should think around Mardi Gras time...which would be around March 1 I guess? Which doesn't make sense if they aren't even putting up the original season until April?

still looking forward to this <3
