Derrick is a terrible host why does this guy make him apart of the podcast?

I tried listening once and made it about 3 minutes and just couldn't do it. He couldn't have been more awful.

I listened to Mother Janelle and paused on each puzzle. Janelle and Darrell had the hardest puzzle by far. Their second board makes absolutely no sense and I still can't figure it out. The other 2 teams basically had answers given to them without math. I'm impressed Janelle even figured this out under pressure. She's airing all this shit out she's FED UP!

Janelle and amber keep getting disrespected and I don't like it

Why is no one yapping off to this tea with me? This website is so lame now y'all hate 38 so much but can't stay out of that season contestants thread and keep bringing up old *** threads from irrelevant has been nobodies like Svetalana and Sophie every ******* day like 12 year olds spamming the same phrase as grown *** men. Y'all beg for old school and when you get it you don't talk about it. Janelle is giving us juicy stuff to gossip and argue about with KVM. I miss the old school people cause y'all new members + old members trying to fit in with the teenagers ain't it.

Anyways did she ever follow MJ? I think she may have unfollowed him. She asked him what the fourth step to the lock was and he ignored her but told Derrick and Derrick told her that on the podcast. And that's when she started sobbing about this has been bothering her for 4 months and production told them the information and not the other 2 teams. She's really upset and I would be too.

Lmaooo ok Timster I'm here, what are we mad about?

edit: oh I'm not listening to a whole *** interview or whatever

Wasnt that interview heartbreaking? Everyone is chalking it up to her being a sore loser but she is completely valid. She purposely didnt do any interviews all season until after the final aired, and she wasnt going to bring up the bs until the EW article. Production deserved to be chewed out, idc

Happy you're here. Listen to it while at work or cleaning up that dusty apartment! They get straight to the final. Yes it's 2 hours but it's really insightful and you can skip the ads. Listen on Spotify. Hosts don't talk much just one part Derrick kept interrupting but she shut him up real quick.

I'm so pissed for her. Put yourself in her shoes. Promised 4 weeks filming but it's 6 weeks cause Kendall's Covid ***. Broke back. Got 2 toenails removed. Won elimination against the strongest team only to go straight to the final. Have no idea it's just phase 1 and work your *** OFF just to get a 30 second lead to the team that finished an hour later than you. Get a puzzle that is way way way more difficult and lose by default because the winner was decided based on who got the puzzle correct  first since the safes were out of play. Feels production kept this secret between themselves and the winners until she found out with the rest of the world and doesn't even get the courteousy to know what the final step was that was mistakingly left off the instructions board. It's been bothering her for months. Wasted all that time and go home with the same pay check Brad and jodi got.

I'd sue. Idc what the contract says I'd still sue.

And the fact MJ just left her on read when she asked for the fourth step. Why not tell her? It really adds insult to injury. When you consider everything Janelle, Darrell, Melinda, and Nehemiah said, seems blatantly favored towards a rigged win

The host ******* me off defending production for doing what they did instead of pausing the final, telling everyone about the fourth step, making them go back to the puzzle and release the teams 1 by 1 based on how they originally finished their puzzle as this wouldn't be the first time they had to check footage while filming.

Production is a joke, and the host is dumb. Mj probably got told by production not to say anything but it's not like her knowing the info would revoke his winnings. I wonder if she asked Jonna. They texted while watching the final so hm

At first I did think that but the 2 phases makes sense knowing the direction of the show now. They wanted everyone to be on the same playing field and have a close ending even though phase 2 was still unnecessary and they could've edited phase 1 to look suspenseful. It ultimately came down to Jonna and mj finishing the puzzle first so they automatically won since production didn't have enough common sense to just make them all restart.

The harder puzzle part is also dumb as hail but we can't say that was rigged since they chose their own puzzles. Production can't think on their feet and don't test out competitions is all this told me. Hope they fired everyone involved. Knowing how season 3 filmed so fast I doubt it.

Sorry that I haven't watched that interview? I don't follow anything Challenge Mania and probably never will.

Then again maybe they wanted an underdog storyline. It could've been rigged with the Brad/Jodi elimiantion since they were expected to win. And then wanted 3rd place to have a chance at winning with the 1 minute time penalty and then got lucky with the easy puzzle

Imagine having time to listen to Derrick k willingly

I guess I will listen just to calm down tweaking timster, see bestie? The things I do for you.

I am pretty sure you can find a recap somewhere instead of wasting your time listening to Scott and Derrick

Imagine thinking they wanted MJ and Jonna to win enough that they'd rig it for them lmao

if what the finalist are saying is true production fumbled ... its not about who it was for its about how they handled the situation..

I'm telling y'all skip 5 minutes when when Janelle joins they get STRAIGHT TO THE POINT and ask Janelle to describe everything that went down and the hosts shut up until they need her to clarify something. I put it all out there at this point but it's best to hear it from the source. Janelle is very well spoken and explains it all so well especially if you go back and pause during the final episode while she talks just as a visual aid. You will all TWEAK like me if you feel the emotions in her voice. This is not the typical sore loser response. She wasted her time and messed her whole body up for no reason. Production is SICK.

I wish I could screenshot the final puzzles too but you can't on Paramount app. I'd have to go home and watch on tv and take pictures and it's not worth it for y'all haters unless I get me some mod powers as a reward.

Put yourself in her shoes. Promised 4 weeks filming but it's 6 weeks cause Kendall's Covid ***.

Like the rest there is no way I'm sitting through a Derrick podcast. But didn't Kendal get covid from a production member who went out and partied? She was teamed with LT so she was also screwed. I'm still not clear on what happened in the final but I hope Janelle keeps exposing them. They've been getting away with their crap for too long.

Omg I'm tired of retyping this shit.

They didn't know there were phases. Watch back Nehemiah and Melinda finishing the marathon they thought they won the whole thing. The phases was a voice over and contestants didn't know that round was basically a purge. They ran and biked all day from 9 am to 5:30 pm. No food and they stayed up all night standing on a log. Busted their *** thinking that was the final when it wasn't. Ayanna quits. Jonna and MJ don't finish and they rush to phase 2 since the sun was going down. Melinda and Nehemiah finished an hour before Ayanna quit per Melinda. Janelle and Darrell finished a few minutes after Melinda and Nehemiah per Janelle.

Phase 2 Melinda and Nehemiah get a 1 minute head start to eat. Janelle and Darrel get 30 second head start.

All the puzzles were different and different difficulty. Janelle and Darrel chose the hardest puzzle not realizing they'd differ in difficulty.  No one knows if production was too stupid to miss this or if this was purposeful but TJ never hinted about puzzles being different and that it was important to choose the best one. Go back and pause and look at their SECOND BOARD and compare it to the rest of the teams. Jonna and Mj basically win by default for completing the puzzle first because the safe wouldn't open because production didn't include all the correct instructions and get driven back to their safe with the secret final step open it, collect the cash and run to the plane again. To this day Janelle doesn't know the 4th instruction and it's bothered her for months and MJ ignored her when she asked. It feels like a set up/big secret between the winners and production. The end.

They should have known it was 2 phase final since they have been doing them since rivals 1

It's crying over spilled milk at this point

So if TJ says the final starts now stand on this log all night see you in the a.m. and then you run and bike a long *** marathon in 100 degree weather for 8 hours you think there's going to be another part? And they always announce how many days they'll be competing in the final so it's expected. N E ways imma let y'all yap now I'm done.

Oh last thing even though this kinda doesn't matter. After J and MJ run to the plane without the bag because production told them their code was correct and they won. Production then asks Janelle what her combo is and she tells them. They immediately turn around and don't confirm if it's correct or not. She keeps asking and they say nothing. They didn't want her to know they ****** up. She basically found all this out when we did with that article and put the pieces together. Ok now I'm done argue with ya mama

It's crying over spilled milk at this point

It's not spilled milk though. It's a life changing amount of money. This could have paid her kids college. Productions rigging and incompetency has happened for years. Most of the cast ignores it because getting call backs is more important for them than winning the money. Janelle is speaking out about it and it's about damn time. Vevmo is a decent size platform in The Challenge universe and we should use out voices to call them out and expose them with Janelle.

lol Darrell's been around long enough he knew it wasn't just that first part even if TJ didn't say it
