Have there been any sightings around town

Lindsay is one of my all-time favs. I wish Nathan and Stephen swapped seasons. Nathan would have been a perfect partner and they would have probably had Danny and Kelley's spot in the finals. I also wish she did at least one or two more challenges.

I loved Lindsay too. She seemed to have such a beautiful spirit. One of the most likable women from the shows.

Have there been any sightings around town

Yeah a few people have seen them- I saw Jamie when they were moving in lol. But it's not like TRW where they come and go freely, everything is very controlled. They had outings and went to a bar and stuff but they were controlled by production. They moved out a few days ago though. If anyone's interested production is trying to sell all the decor and furniture from the house lol

Is there a site online they are selling it all? Were they in a private area at the bar for covid? So could they like go for a walk around town?

There's a group on Facebook, PM me and I can send it to you. And the bar was shut down for filming. You could sign up to be go and be filmed but it had to be in advance (it wasn't advertised that this was what they were filming though). I didn't go, unfortunately.

I dont know if anyone cares and it more just confirms what we've thought and/or heard, but it looks like Bunim-Murray hasn't seriously considered doing a Real World San Francisco Homecoming, based on this recent interview with Judd.

https://youtu.be/RbNK1iQKcGc

He says him and Pam were not contacted about Homecoming and that they would probably NOT do it if asked. He said they are basically too old and too content with their lives to go back and do a full Homecoming where they lived with the roommates again. He did say he might be open to doing some interviews on camera about the experience, but not a full on Homecoming.

On the one hand I understand why Bunim-Murray hasn't seriously pursued a Homecoming for San Francisco, but I also think it's kind of strange considering how popular this season was. And if they were to somehow convince the die hard libs (Pam, Judd, Mo, Cory) to get in the same room with Rachel and Puck, there would def be drama. Maybe too much??

And let's not forget Jo haha. Maybe Bunim-Murray thinks this Homecoming would be too much trouble to produce.

Interesting. Thanks for posting. This is what I don't get. Why don't they ask everybody from seasons 1-11 and see who says yes or maybe. People keep assuming that the casts we are seeing are the only ones that said yes but I get the feeling and this confirms it that the casts we are seeing are the ones that said yes out of the casts they liked the best. Jon Murray had the ones he liked the best and those are the ones that have Homecomings. The only one that he listed that hasn't done it is Hawaii and they tried hard to do it. I just don't understand why not check with everybody from all those seasons. Productions favorite isn't always the fans favorite and fans are craving more than 4 seasons.

Massive production crew at the Belfort (original house) yesterday and this morning. I was unable to snap a picture but worth nothing they are still in New Orleans and still filming, although it seems they've all moved out and have been moved into individual hotels according to certain instagram stories. I find it crazy they're still doing things this close to Thanksgiving.

They were such a fun Cast, I'm hoping they atleast had a good time

Can we get a homecoming generic thread?

The problem would be contacting some of the old roommates who didn't stay in touch and are not active on Social Media

I would say each of the popular seasons from 1-11 so far that doesn't have a Homecoming would have at least one to two definite no's

San Francisco-It really wouldn't work without Pedro (RIP) and I doubt they could convince anyone to live with Puck again and he would be essential

Miami- I feel like Joe, Melissa and maybe Flora and Sarah would be no

Boston-Sean

Seattle-Irene possibly Janet and Lindsay would be hard to get

Hawaii-Colin and apparently Kaia and Justin

New York-Coral Or Mike

Chicago-Tonya

It sounds like some cast members had issues with production over the unseen footage that cause drama. To be honest I don't know what they though they were signing up for it's a reality show not the Brandy Bunch and they need to find ways to have content for each episode. Also sounds like Julie is still a hotmess lmao

It does seem like Bunim-Murray have contacted most seasons. We have confirmations from the cast members of Boston, Seattle, Hawaii at least. It seems that they haven't contacted San Francisco and London.

It's been interesting to hear who is up for returning and who is not. Every Boston cast member wants to do it except for Sean, as confirmed by Genesis and Montana. As for Seattle, yes Janet and Lindsay (and possibly Stephen) are most likely the holdouts. But it seems judging on what Nathan has said about being in contact with Irene that she would be willing to do it.

As for Hawaii, Amaya confirmed on Twitter that Justin was actually willing to do it. Teck confirmed that Matt and Colin were the holdouts and that Kaia said no as well when she heard Colin wasn't going to do it.

I don't believe we have solid info on any of the other seasons so far.

I also don't get this, especially because the New Orleans cast had access to the episodes from RWNY Homecoming. Did they not think they were going to be shown old and possibly unseen footage? They used so much old and unseen footage on the first season of Homecoming. So dumb to get upset about that.

I think that is what is fascinating about watching these. Clearly everyone has a reason to do it or not do it. Obviously the money is probably a big draw, but I think many of these people still have a desire to be seen and try to redeem themselves in a way. They want to remake their image in some way, gain some control back. But don't they know the production is still going to do things to instigate drama? How can they be that naive?

This is why Julie needs to be a lock for All stars 4!

I would love to find out if they contacted all of Miami and B2NY and who said yes or no. I feel like they should still ask even if they have other people who said no because you might have people that say no but another cast mate could help sway them. It sounds like Kelly was swayed by Danny. Don't know if she would have done it without him. So why not just ask everyone.

To my surprise Justin was actually on board to do Hawaii according to Teck. It was Colin who was the lone hold out. I am guessing they would have shot it without Matt.

PR confirmed that Miami was asked but we don't know who declined. I would guess Joe and Sarah. Possibly Mike since he's seemed to fall off the face of the earth.

There's now a general homecoming thread to discuss topics not related to new Orleans

I bet Vegas will be our last Homecomimg or maybe Austin. NOLA being mad doesn't bode well for getting other cast back. At least we got Melissa and Julie back. Now we just gotta get Julie back on a AS4 with Veronica and Ayanna.

I don't get why they'd get heated by unaired footage from 20 years ago. It was 20 years ago, who cares.

What did they think they were signing up for? Glad they were ignorant to it. And they don't want the drama but yet they respond with drama?

They can't have their cake and eat it too. I could see the cast feeling blindsided if unseen footage is used in a way to characterize someone who may have been ignorant in the past as who they currently are if they have changed. When the New York cast viewed footage on the TV it was nearly all footage that had aired so this would be slightly different. Ultimately this is a reality show that is not a social experiment but an unscripted soap opera and they should have come in agreeing with one another that any use of unseen footage to create drama between them would be met with internal feelings that this footage is from when they were all younger.

i wonder if melissa and julie patched things up

I think I can answer this one.

On season 1 of The Real World, production "interfered" by placing something Eric Nies had did on a table (or something along those lines) so the cast would find it.  The cast felt betrayed by this as by manufacturing that moment, the show was no longer "real" as it was supposed to be.  Production promised from that point on to never interfere again.  This was actually referenced on one of the episode of the first Homecoming season.

I think the cast may view forcing unseen footage onto everyone as "interference" as they'd rather things happen naturally.  But at the same time, it's hard to gather how they'd get anything useful to show for 6-8 episodes if they just showed up, ate pizza, and went home.
