He even says he doesn't know how she is now but at the time she was a nasty person. His experience, his pain, his guilt, his story, and his right to reflect.

It's obvious who has and hasn't watched the video in full (or who lack comprehension). Leroy said more than once that part of the reason he had to learn to forgive himself is because not only was he afraid and lost, but he sacrificed his morals and what's right for a paycheck.
It still doesnt make it right but leroy's friendship with johnny knowing his history does make me side eye him. But tyrie made a point that leroy was complacent while he was still being given a check.
This entire situation being brought up again is a little weird. The point Leroy made in that video is being ignored and now the focus is on who still follows who and guess who unfollowed this person and this person should've did that. The entire message that was being conveyed is being ignored. MTV should be ashamed of themselves and once again their inability to take actions once again has done damage to another one of their coworkers.
He finally got the strength to speak out because hes never returning back to the show. Btw would yall feel a way if kam still does the show knowing how mtv treated her man?
Leroy's close relationship with Johnny is their relationship and I would hope that certain conversations built around race have been had. If Leroy sees change in Johnny and accepts his past faults that's his decision. If that's a friendship he wants to keep I can't change how he feels about him.

i understand others expressing annoyance with the fact that he chose securing his bag over standing up for what he should've but that was the entire point of the video. That was my initial reaction now too because I don't think this was the entire reason he retired (his back/age as well I think). But it's better for him to speak on it than not imo so you can get out of here with the reactionary immature so and so is cancelled party. Grow up.
