Thank you Chavo! Sounds like it was good tv, wish I could watch it
It was so good. It really gave us the first glimpses of what it was like to see different casts coming together to see how they would interact. I believe this is the formula that made The Challenge the success that it was.
6 figures for a couple of weeks is sweet. Any castmembers turning that down must REALLY feel strongly about not wanting any part of being on camera again or maybe their money is already long.
David Burns, for example, just made Forbes, I believe. Is he one of the holdouts for Seattle?
Idc how long my money is I would be doing this in a heartbeat an extra six figure check for 10-14 days & you have your phone/compute the entire time.

Yep. I would do it in a heartbeat too. Montana from RW Boston is pissed that Sean keeps declining

Teck really seems pissed at Colin for Holding up Hawaii as well.
I agree. It's such a short time to film and a lot of money. Even if the person doesn't need the money they could come say hi, get on their phone and then donate all the money to kids cancer research or their local animal rescue. That way even a negative experience for them could have a positive outcome.
Cancel culture will probably play a big part in quite a few people not coming back. They aren't all Aneesa, some of them have success lives and families. It isn't worth some purple-haired lib pulling up a clip of something slightly offensive they said in 1998 so they can have their woke moment.
I'm surprised they'd be willing to have Irene from Seattle on this. Didn't she have a book and spend years speaking out against the show and how fake it was? If they are going to have her back they might as well bring Tonya back!
What's Ellen up to these days? I agree KVM, she would be the most difficult one to get on board. Campus Crawl could work. Although we haven't seen Raquel since she was on her season. I'm surprised she never did a challenge. She's the only one from that season that went MIA
Rachel Robinson is the problem for Campus Crawl. She's not doing a Homecoming if she won't compete for 500k.
Rachel is less of a problem than Shane and Sarah. Sarah may not even be medically cleared to do Road Rules and Kendal has said Shane would never do it since his current job is very lucrative and a reunion (apparently) wouldn't be worth the money.
Ok so hold up I'm going to need to discuss this trailer for Homecoming L.A. It looks like it's going to be crazy and I was totally wrong about Tami being calm, which I love! First off she is seen fighting a couple of times with Glen rather intensely. Then we see her call her man Reggie proclaiming "Ima need you to come to this house" and he is shown marching into that house with Tami by his side looking for David! Then David saying "y'all really wanna do this?" Speaking of David we are shown him laughing like the last crack head, and Beth once again insinuating that maybe he is high (she did this on Battle of the Sexes). We know things almost get physical with Glen and David. Let me just say Tami knows how to make for interesting reality tv. I am so glad she isn't woke and she seems to bring it on this season. Tami has never let me down on any of her several reality tv appearances. It's 2021 and I get the L.A. cast back together again? What did I do to deserve this? I know this season of Homecoming will be epic and reality trash tv at its best. I know this will be the best season in the series of Homecomings.
More gossip - Genesis from the Boston season was on the Hot Takes podcast with Jess Rothschild last week. Not much new info, but she did confirm what Montana said. Every Boston castmember wants to do Homecoming except for Sean. She says Sean is too worried about how he will be portrayed. She says the reason they took him off the group chat is because they felt bad about blowing up his phone by constantly messaging.
The host, Jess Rothschild also brought up that New Orleans will be the next Homecoming season. Don't know how she knows this, but Genesis also confirms it and says she heard that every New Orleans cast member agreed to participate, which is why they are going next. Genesis also confirms that Bunim-Murray reached out to all the casts at the same time and that they may come back around to seasons where they couldn't get every cast member to return.

tbh they shouldn't get their 100K unless they're there in person interacting with the cast -- then everybody would be jumping on Skype's saying hey to everybody with no commit to the reunion.

So they even asked San Francisco, London and Miami? Those are the only 3 I haven't heard a peep about. I can't believe they're getting 3 figures for doing this. When Teck that said that I thought he was pulling my leg.

Cancel culture is very real and Sean doesn't need the money. Why in the world would he subject himself to this? Sean and Rachel (also Kyle and Aaron) have way too much to lose. The trailer is exactly why Aaron said no.
What does Aaron have to lose? His friendship with Dom? hehe
Aaron doesn't have anything to lose he just didn't like his experience on the show. He seemed above it all and had the attitude to match. He's never done any reunions, why would he now?

Unless I've missed something recently. Aaron is very successful and isn't putting his joke (or I believe his company) at risk. It's not just politicans that have to be careful. See Jon Gruden for a recent example.

I did heard some tea about him and his "company" ☕️
Thank you Chavo! Sounds like it was good tv, wish I could watch it
I am so excited for this and more excited than for All Stars. I wonder what Glen did. I never liked that mf.

Yeah, chavo I've heard Beth call Tami a golddigger years after that too. lol. What happened? They got along on their season.
That reunion with the first 4 casts needs to be on Paramount+ like yesteryear
Where can I watch the RW reunion from 1995?

I think it's insane that anyone would be getting 6 figures to be on a short show streaming on an app barely used but I won't hate lol

Yasss to the post above~ even Beth A and Irene were shown crying
who do we think Jon was telling he’d hate to see them leave like that???
Oh yea I left that part out. My guess is it's either David or Glenn? I hope it's not David, he always leaves early on all his shows.
yeah I thought it was 6 figures split for the entire cast lmao bc no way this is getting huge numbers on paramount plus
