Soon it'll be a requirement of the rookies on The Challenge to have had a rough life and cry about it in confessionals. For me it's a turn off, I want fun and an escape from tragic stuff when watching TV.
Hoping for Juliet Rogers aka Julie Stoffer. I miss her. Would love at least 1 girl from the Miami-Boston era. Veronica-Beth-Tina-Montana. Would also love to see how a Marie or Laurel interacts with the OG divas.

I mean, I'm great with depth as long as it is a part of the story at hand. Like Coral & Mike's friendship, Rodger & Elisabeth in Survivor II, Diem on the Duel etc. Personal stories are fine as long as we get to witness it instead of just talking about it and shoehorning it in. Veronica meeting her grandma for the first time on RR for instance.

it's gotten better since but the premiere was just so odd. It's like the show is obsessed with kissing it's own *** thru the cast. Now we have people who are younger than the show and they grew up watching the show. It's created a weird group of players that are so different from the original Survivors.
So they havent filmed season 2 reunion right? I'm sure there will be repeat casting again. It just doesnt make sense to me , by the time they film season 2 reunion, they will be done filming season 3 and wont care about season 2 issues.
Are they also trying to do what they do with the main show and pull a little trilogy angle? For instance, Derrick being screwed over on Season 2, now they want the people involved in that drama to carry over into 3.
