Heights have gotten in the way of Katie and Darrell before.
Darrell never refused to compete. I only recall Katie refusing to do one and that was when the guys threw it. Theo refused to participate. That's different than anyone Darrell ever did for example

Just last season Darrell was so scared of heights that he couldnt bother walking to the edge to hold Amber up on a mission that they couldve won (Ily kang lol). But a few missions later he was able to win a trivia mission that involves heights. Do you see how someone's performance can change based on the circumstances? His fear of heights is still there but his mind reacted differently to it based on the task at hand lol.
I also still stand on my main point that he shouldve came back and the producers dumb for not letting him.

During his real world season I though he was going to be the new Leroy not as personality but someone that would do a bunch of seasons in a row and casuals would like
This man legit quit during an elimination. If heights was such a big fear for him he would have never lasted anyway seeing how heights are always involved in challenges. Liked him on RW but he's just not cut out for this show.
I've known football players who were redshirt freshmen on D1 schools who ended up in the NFL. I do understand it can get tiring to hear Theo talk about his pipe dreams but I mean it's not like he doesn't have any merit.
At Eastern Illinois. Yeah, at a power 5 conference definitely or even the group of 5 maybe but if you're in FCS and you have a shot at the NFL you're playing day 1. He wasn't even playing FBS football. Let's be real here.

pretty simple if you have a "deathly" fear of heights you will never do well on the challenge and there's really no point in even going which is probably what production thinks. There's been many people scared of heights that at least attempt the challenge and the ones that haven't (Katie) was already established at that point and had a reason for it.
I disagree there are great moments of people refusing to do heights or freaking out. Melissa, Katie, and Casey all have delievered great height moments. Sometimes they overcame them and sometimes that just said heck no. That's when the Challenge was great and not wannabe 5th sport. The second Theo stalled he lost so there was no point in jumping. He'd already lost. He deserved another shot.

casey quit multiple heights missions, including ones on her first season, and was able to return. guess what, she even returned on AS2 and completed every heights mission ...because people can break their fears! omg so exciting xDD!! ::pp
