I might be in the minority with this opinion, but I think if its only 1-2 people who refuse to do it, then production should still go forward with it

Depends who those people are.  Hawaii is useless without Colin IMO.  Ruthie and Teck were already on All Stars while everyone else on that cast is forgettable.  Boston without Sean is doable.  San Francisco doesn't work at all without Pedro being gone and there's no way Rachel would or Puck could.

dont get me wrong, I would love nothing more than to hear Colins commentary, he's funny af. But at least there's another funny guy on the cast (Teck). Ruthie/Teck on All Stars weren't ever shown talking about their season, so I'd like to hear their commentary.

I do agree it depends on the season and who doesn't want to do it though. A back to New York without the Miz or Coral would not be good.

i also want to see castmembers reactions who never watched their season entirely.

Fair enough--I just can't fathom watching Hawaii without Colin.  Matt & Justin might be the two most useless cast members in the history of the show.  Even Kaia was a huge disappointment and does Amaya add anything without Colin?  lol

One of my favorite Colin answers

My mind was like was a machine. They would ask me a question, I would stop, phrase it in my mind, understand how that could be perceived, and begin. A director said, ”If you just free-flow, it’s a lot easier, we get better stuff.” I was like, ”Are you kidding me? If I free-flow, you f— me! I’m gonna wait here, plan my response, tell you my sentence, and if you don’t want to use it, fine.” When Puck left the show [after smashing his room], he didn’t give them an exit interview, he told them to f— off. So they said to me in my interview, ”Don’t you think it was really aggressive and violent the way Puck left?” And I started laughing, and I said, ”Objection, your honor. Leading the witness?”

I used to read colin's blog back in the day.  He had a website in the late 90s, early 00s.  He was very anti the show and reality tv after his experience.  He did however eventually agree to Battle of the Sexes because he wanted to promote his book.  After that he went off the grid and got rid of his website.  He has been studying and working in education(mostly overseas) ever since.

youre right though, Colin was so entertaining so it wouldn't be the same without him. But its my favorite season so admittedly I'm just itching for it to happen.

It says alot that he went from being a "reject" on the casting special, to being cast in the house, to basically being the main person in the interviews for "RW Hawaii You Never Saw".

hes one of my old school favorites and so underrated. He's smart so he knew better than to feed into productions shit, he's funny as hell, but also fit into the "frat guy" slot without being the stereotype of one. Granted the challenges were completely different back in the day, but he was also a great competitior even with an injury.

Ruthie & Teck did talk about Hawaii. Eps 1 & 2

I hope after LA the next 2 are Seattle and New Orleans.

Seattle was the best season period and I am dying to see what Lindsay and Janet are up to.  Not to mention Irene-Stephen face to face.

New Orleans would be super uncomfortable because Julie and her mom didn't just do Melissa dirty with the whole college lecture stuff, they also got caught writing an email to a school trashing Danny.

That season was for sure contacted! I remember hearing those names at some point

Depends on who are those 2 imo let say LA and Tami isn't then it shouldn't happen

Lindsay Janet Rebecca Nathan David Stephen and Irene was actually a pretty damn good cast looking back on it. Stephen was just horrible at the time.

I guess I am a lot less picky. I would settle for Lori, Malik, the fish tank, 01' music soundtrack and some unseen footage. Doesn't take much to take me back and it would be nice to revisit pre- 9/11 NY moments. I feel part of the reason they never got a reunion is that B2NY ended filming shortly before 9/11. I think they deserve a Homecoming on that alone.

I totally agree about seeing castmembers reactions who never watched the whole show. I am always surprised by ones who don't but also understand.

I missed all the behind the scenes Colin was giving but man it sounds amazing! He should do the show just to give more behind the scenes info and to mess with production.

I think getting Irene would be impossible.  Not sure who else would be tough but hard to say with the girls and Stephen.

I didn't appreciate Colin until after Sexes and the blogs.  He was always funny but after that he became one of my favorites though I knew he'd never be back.  He's one of the few that used MTV more than MTV used him.

I think Irene would do it ! This is actually really good money because unlike the challenge they wouldn't be able to find a replacement if they want to do a season

Oh--that's actually awesome and amazing Irene would do it.

Dont quote me on that! But I think she is like a Tami that would agree

Yeah, no worries--I understand people change their minds all the time too

I used to read colin's blog back in the day.  He had a website in the late 90s, early 00s.  He was very anti the show and reality tv after his experience.  He did however eventually agree to Battle of the Sexes because he wanted to promote his book.  After that he went off the grid and got rid of his website.  He has been studying and working in education(mostly overseas) ever since.

Yupp--his explanation of why he showed up

They’ve called me for the last three and a half years [for ”Challenges”], but this time I had a vested interest and a game plan. I have my book, and if you’ve got some kind of buzz, it’s gonna be a lot easier to sell copies. So I got in my frat-guy mode — short hair, clean-shaven face, in good shape. If I’m gonna give them an image, I’m only gonna give them the same one they already have.

Do you just have all his quotes memorized?

I was about to say...I know you have an insanely good memory of the show but remebering blog quotes from 20 years ago would have been on a whole new level lol.

I may be crazy but not that crazy lol

Was getting Tami really hard? I believe it was said that she was the hold out for awhile, but she's been consistently on reality tv since her real world. Did the basketball wives franchise really turn her off reality tv that bad or is she just over reality tv in general?

I honestly just tuned into the shows she was cast on solely for her commentary.  She reads people for filth and I love her facial expressions.

She was probably getting paid wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy better for that

Yeah, but this is less than two weeks. It's also not as toxic.

Boston- Yes. They don't need Sean but if he was smart he could come on and try to use it in his favor. But doubt he would even try.

Chicago- Maybe. Kyle and Tonya are probably are no.

First off, Sean has no way of turning things in his favor.  The liberals don't want to listen to anything he has to say.  They've already made up their mind.  He's a conversative and therefore the devil.

Second, there's no "probably' about Tonya being a no

Sean isn't a bad guy because he's conservative.  He's a bad guy because he's a gigantic ******* and his wife is an even bigger lunatic.

This is actually a pretty good paycheck especially for 10 days

Still waiting for what makes Sean and Rachel bad people aside from their political beliefs since people are claiming it's not because he's a conservative.

I'm surprised more people won't do it then for that payday.  You really don't have to give them much while you're there if you don't want to.  Not surprised by Colin or any high-profile people (Kyle, Sean, Rachel, Jacinda, Kelly) but other than them...

I actually never watched Seattle - but Susie had Irene on 15 min of blame over the pandemic and she was fun to listen too. It was a long interview too. She seems to be in a good place. even for the seasons I haven't seen I hope they do this - because I still know one or two cast members from challenges.

also Colin is one of the rare guys I actually really enjoyed on the show - I was sad sexes was his final appearance.
