I think I remember her saying on one of the challenges before she cut her toe pretty bad maybe even lost a nail so she knew if she made the final she would have a tough time. I don't think she outright gave it to her but it was a "if I lose oh well" since she would struggle in the final.
Having Laurel compete against a cast full of the weakest women in the shows history isn't fair or good tv. It'll be a completely uninteresting blowout. She can do the other spinoff.

I just don't want it to be another Bananas and adderrall show where he controls the game. This potentially gives our favorites a much harder time of winning, if you think about it.
