I get the lack of excitement but at the same time some of these people haven't been on in over 15 years, and people change a lot over 15 years. We literally don't know what they're like now, we don't know how they're going to react to the new situation of being in a stressful house with a bunch of other people and how they will handle the paranoia of the game, like...we don't know anything. I'm watching RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars season 6 and 90% of the cast does not feel like an all star, yet somehow the season is still good.
Can we at least agree this cast is better than challenge 37? Hahah
If you are watching for nostalgia then yes. But if you take that out then 100% it's not
I haven't seen the 37 cast in action so I can't but I prefer this cast over the 37 OGs and not just for nostalgia. They are just more genuine and authentic which is what I prefer.

I feel like a good amount of us *are* watching for nostalgia, and I don't think it's any less of a reason to enjoy something than other things. Like yeah, seeing some of these names seriously reminds me of being 13 years old and entering the world of The Challenge and seeing how much of a history and almost sort of "world-building" the Challenge Universe was composed of. As a reality show fan of many many years, I find the return of Leah Gilliwater as fascinating as it is unexpected.

I wasn't taking a shot at those watching for nostalgia. I am just saying if you are watching over that then you will enjoy this more than 37 with more than half of the cast being rookies.
But if we take the nostalgia aspect out of the picture in my opinion 37 cast is better. They will bring more drama, hookups, bigger social media engagement and more attractive.
