i don't think they are bad people but you're very naive to think they do not have an inflated ego. early 2000s reality tv stars are some of the most narcissistic people we've seen. acting like they wouldn't make their wage back and some for showing up for this short time of filming is ludicrous
some of them just don't wanna do it if it's not worth their time lol they don't have to do a show just cause they expressed interest
at the end of the day they're not coming back to put on a show just to put on a show. some people it's not worth their while to be on a reality show and opening themselves and their families up to the toxic craziness that comes with it nowadays unless they're paid probably more than they're worth, so that's why they're left off
someone like Veronica absolutely has nothing worth while to look forward to back home considering how miserable and aged she has gotten. i am truly not talking about every one and the ones that have left the show behind and moved on. i'm talking about the ones that are making this production and casting process a living hell.
it does not take many context clues to understand whom and what i'm talking about.
If at the end of the day the best a show titled "All Stars" can come up with after 37 seasons is Emilee Fitz then the spin off shouldn't exist.

What do you mean by "and aged"? Veronica's hot. I understand why people dislike her but "aged" lmao. And lots of people that lost a baby and a sibling aren't exactly the happiest people--sometimes life gets the best of you.
Emilee is on the Do Not Expect list and I highly doubt she ever makes a cast even if we get to All Stars 5 lol not sure why she's a topic of conversation unless I missed something

i do not mean in a physical sense as i think she looks fine enough for her age. i meant in her actions. think like a "get off my lawn" type of insult. she's acts very bitter like a ripe old banana

Fair enough. Veronica's had a tough life and we see that at times with her. Like I said, I understand why people don't like her but not everyone recovers from the types of loss that she's had over the years.
i do not mean to clog the thread talking about the same topic so i will end it here. it takes two to tango and i think we need to start questioning whether the talent pool is worth this show existing.
id never see Survivor doing an all star season and the best of the best being difficult to hunt down and play again and that show isn't giving out 5 figures to hang out in an airbnb and drink alcohol lol

I feel like Survivor is a completely different animal. I think we have plenty of people to make this work even if it's not the people we were originally hoping for.

Survivor Winners at War essentially was that and every person who was there got a MINIMUM appearance fee of $35K so not really the same thing as it's a higher production with a bigger prize. I'm' sure the big ticket names like Parvati and Boston Rob probably got $100K to just show up.
Like I said, many of these people do not need the money and do not want to do the show after all unless they get paid a hefty bag. I'm not sure what they're throwing at these people but it's probably half what they normally do for the real show if I had to guess at most. This is a lower production with a more limited budget that is not going to fit all the big bill cast members who are doing fine and don't need this show lol.
Not for nothing theres like 10 "bigger" names off the top of my head i can think of that actually have real jobs/careers (of people that werent on the first season)
Landon, Frank R, Jill Z, David Burns, Jeremy (think he has his own company so could be easier for him), Rachel R, Christena Pyle (shes not even a bigger name, just one of the few i know has made an actual career), Paula, Theo V, Blair
i feel like most of the other big names are doing like Beth/Syrus type deals where they have passion projects and do appearances etc
I do not get what is even being argued here. It's not that hard to see that some people are just not going to be willing to do it for table scraps when they're well-off or don't wanna take the time off to film a show when they could spend two weeks away from work in Fiji instead. If they don't need the money or just don't wanna do it, they aren't going to. Get over it.
As much as most of us would never like to admit it somone like Karamo or Cameron would bring in more viewers/subscriptions than someone like Coral or Veronica would in the eyes of the casual viewer. Both Karamo and Cameron have decent following from shows they are currently/recently on and would likely bring in more viewers/an audience the show wouldnt have had before. Whereas yeah coral is amazing and probably my fave girl of all time and made this show great, she unfortunately isnt as much of a household name as she used to be and in the eyes of the casual viewer might not even be known
you name something All Stars it comes with the connotation. there's 500,000 on the line i gurrantee this isn't some backyard production with no budget. we will see when the cast is revealed but as of now im personally almost at my limit with being hopeful.
that is my personal opinion. I am not asking for Jamie Chung herself to step off set of another A list movie or Mike The Miz to halt his Wrestlemania plans. never once said that. you all both know there's a cast list we could be reasonablly given with a little push and pull from both production and talent that would make every one happy
and being rude to me telling me to "get over it" when this is a means of discussion and our opinions speaks volumes to you and how you speak to people.
i refuse to discuss with someone as low level brained to think saying "get over it" over speculation and discussion is supposed to halt the room

Some people need the money more than others and would be happy to show up for an appearance fee of $5k-10k for a few weeks of their life.
Some people aren't going to show up unless the schedule works for them, they can get time off, and they get $50k+ just to show up.
And no, I highly doubt the casting budget is that high for appearance fees where they have a ton to throw at these people. This is a business with a budget that the casting department has to work within.
Be grateful for what you get, we're lucky we got any show like this at all tbh.
and being rude to me telling me to "get over it" when this is a means of discussion and our opinions speaks volumes to you and how you speak to people.

You don't have to reply to me just like I don't have to baby you so you can ramble on about your unrealistic opinions on how a production company should run a budget for a show, or that some people simply just don't want to do it if it doesn't work for them.
you don't seem to have reading comprehension skills because you keep retorting to me things i am not talking about. you came in with a point to prove that i was not arguing. we're taking up way too much room in the thread. end it
you are responding to me. you came and inserted yourself into my post. it is your responsibility when you insert yourself in conversations to have a nuanced conversation. you are clearly incapable of such.
clearly unnamed cast members are paying your bills for you to be so passionate to defend their honors for a show they are not on
apparently i am asking people who i didn't name to drop their lives and kids off a cliff to come do a show for $5. i never said such but when you have people who feel like they own the room this is what you get
How entitled to think that the show is not worth watching unless you get exactly what you want. It's a spin off with people who haven't been on the show in forever and does not have the Survivor money or fan base to power it. It's not that hard to comprehend.
it's entitled to decide what is worth my money and view? it's entitled to speculate and discuss in a thread titled speculation and discussion?
i don't recall telling Deeper the Vevmoian that they shouldn't watch this season? i think in your brain where the world revolves around you you may have read that
it's entitled to decided what is worth my money and view? it's entitled to speculate and discuss in a thread titled speculation and discussion?
My point is that this is not a production that has enough money to throw around to get every single person you deem as a proper "All Star". Most of us are just happy to see some familiar faces we never thought we'd see on our screens again. If you do not like it, then yes, do not watch then and then you'll see none of these people again as All Stars dies lol.
I really am not saying you can't discuss it, I'm saying it's annoying that you've flooded the thread with your opinion without simply facing facts of what this show is, and that is a fairly cheap spin-off of a already not major franchise on a crap streaming service at the moment. Like it or leave it, but that's what it is.
i made 3 comments before you decided to participate and derail it to suit your narrative. 3 actual comments constituted a "flood" because you didn't like my opinion and how i speculated.
that's the facts it is right there for the room to see

You literally said those words lmaooo idiot
it's called being polite because i am new and wanted to premptively let it be known that i mean no ill will. i truly didn't expect someone to actually be so self centered to actually be offended that someone dare type out their thoughts in a SINGULAR post for longer than a sentence.
you refuse to see how you are rude and there's nothing i can do about that. i'll choose to conversate with the adults on here from now on

Talking about Emilee her old Twitter is gone and she started a new one. Someone doesn't want her old problematic tweets coming back.
She's been jealous of Coral for 2 decades now
First time I've ever complimented her--very smart and more people should be doing that
What do you mean by "and aged"? Veronica's hot. I understand why people dislike her but "aged" lmao. And lots of people that lost a baby and a sibling aren't exactly the happiest people--sometimes life gets the best of you.
