Nelson never saw an elimination either. CT (like Nelson Nany and Kaycee) likely played a great game. The entire purpose is to avoid eliminations. That sometimes includes not throwing in someone that you think will come back and target you.
John and CT aren't comparable. I'd throw in John early and often but I'm not throwing in CT until the end. I don't want that target on my back.
im personally most impressed with Nany and Nelson avoiding elims since the two of them almost always have a tendency to flop and get into elim right before a final and lose (with a few seasons as exceptions)
The threats should be targeted instantly. The players are so dumb that it makes the challenge seem scripted for certain players to ger more air time or win.
