I may be reaching, but clearly alot of us are doing it around here. But do you all think they did that to actually make people like Fessy more? I mean just last season people felt like production was also doing things that would work out in Fessy's favor. He made it to the final along with CT. Also, he basically gave up on the final and TJ didn't give him shit like he usually does others. The only other person I have seen TJ be so passive to is CT, somebody he clearly likes. So I take it he likes Fessy as well as production.

You can't really compare things done/said today to the same things done/said in the past, even if it's only a few years ago. The world has changed, movements have come and gone or continue, people have fought battles for what they believe in, and certain things can't slide anymore.
If Ashley said something homophobic or racist, MTV would never let her stay because of the backlash. Few years ago? Sure. Camila was pretty much the cut off. And honestly, I can see Ashley making a comment out of anger that she probably didn't mean, and producers giving zero tolerance.
